You can put it that way. She definitely is to blame for offering Ashley a temptation he couldn’t resist.

Comment #45@Average_Contents It was above me and I only noticed after I looked around after the final whistle. It went on for some time – fans, stewards wading in.
@Jail for Ashley – Does it make a difference if it is or isn’t? I’ll change it if you want :0)

Comment #48it has been a very very difficult period for the team. there’s so much pressure after losing Cabaye and the whole team going downhill from there.
it was hard to pick up the players. we have got the vital first win lifting the pressure off them. it’s idiotic expecting us to play fluid football and send leicester off the park with our kind of form with our players with no confidence at all.
our first win was always going to be scrappy. going to be hard. now the pressure is off from the players. and they can start to play with a little bit more belief and kick start this club again. expect a few more scrappy displays before we start playing fluid football.
we need to be patient and get behind pardew and the team. and not expect us to win great ALL the time. even chelsea scraps win occcasionaly.

Obertan’s playing to place him in the January sales window. After all, we can’t have inconsistent players on the books when we’re striving to win trophies can we. There’s so much talent out there and we must control the spend on wages so, he’ll be on the list for the clearout along with Saylor – let’s not forget that Charnley’ll be keen to get Lascelles in and that’ll take care of the need to sign another CB!
As far as Ashley showing a ‘human’ side’s concerned, I suspect that Bullshit Bishop’s advised him to go to the dressing room. An article in the Daily Mail presented Ashley as being ‘in love’ with Tyneside and passionate about the club though sadly misunderstood by fans.
Ashley’ll never change as evidenced by the big screen. Oh yes, 52000 fans’ll eagerly awaiting the half-time entertainment of SD ads, SD ads and for a change, SD ads – just to add to the ‘matchday experience’.
But, with so much ‘entertainment’ in the form of SD ads to fill in the time before kick-off, half-time, sadly there’ll not be enough time to show the highlights of a stunning game after it’s ended and available to show a feast of great goals from past heroes.
All hail SD, all hail our saviour, Ashley.

Ilovetoon your comparaison is , as always, totally silly. Ben Arfa had his first big game today, how can you judge him? Are you trolling again, or just plain stupid, you are so annoying, seriously I d give money just to punch you one time in the face, maybe it ll help to clear up your dumb mind who knows.
—————-
another gutless fool who knows F all.. you can’t digest the fact that he was as rubbish yesterday with hull as he was with us? it’s the same old arfa who disappeared in the game where arsenal had him truly in their grasps without sweat.
he was a passenger all game long. suck that up.
Marveaux is the one player who had another stormer for Guingamp yesterday with an assist. he was dictating all their play.
He’s the player we not made a loss on. he’s constant threat game after game because of his style. he’s ever present.
newcastle fans like you need to wake up their ideas and not just savour players who produces the odd brilliance but does a david copperfield for 10 games before scoring again.

Comment #52Most on here agree we are in a relegation fight and that it was it is a fight to get up table. We may not see confident football until we have a at least a coupla wins in a row. Hard to see that happening soon given next 2 fixtures to come.
November looks easier and we have to get a few wins as December apart from Burnley looks horrendous. Need not to be adrift come January.

For all his faults Ash isn’t the one who wrote millions off the value off HBA, MYM, Cabella, Riviere, Tiote, Cisse, Anita etc.
You know very well that a Koeman or any manager with an attacking pass and move philosophy would play to these guys strengths, not hang them out to dry playing a negative ”containing” system that is totally alien to them.
If you can’t see that then I don’t know what to suggest for you to understand that your endless defense of Pardew on the basis of it’s all Ash’s fault simply doesn’t wash.
AP thanked himself for the 9 summer signings stating it was the best squad he’d ever had and getting rid of MYM and HBA on deadline day was totally his call.

Comment #55@ilovetoon8788 – Good to hear your optimism, though it is going to take a lot more to convince me we’re yet on the right tracks.
Anybody who has read my post on here knows I’m not one of the haters. Pardew has a lot to prove that he has the right recipe for getting us out of this mess.
Yesterday, was disjointed with a very defensive minded line up. He had a couple of weeks to prepare for the must win game and it was a player he was looking to discard who saved his bacon. This playing one up front really has to stop. For almost the entirety of the match – the well drilled Leicester defence (hats off to Pearson) knew they only had to mark Cisse and force him out wide to nullify any threat as nobody else would even approach the box.
Playing Perez up front with Cisse, picking out passes & making runs to draw away defenders helped him out and also allowed Obertan to then also make runs. Give ’em something to think about and they will make mistakes. All defences will eventually do that.
Everybody can see that – It took Pardew 60 minutes into a must win game to get his mind around doing it, where as it should have been the case from the get go – as indeed it should be every game at home.
Obertan is clearly a “confidence” player. If he had a little more self belief he could have scored more in the last 30 mins or so or at least drawn fee kicks if dangerous areas – if only he had the self belief to push the ball past the man and run on – he can skin almost anybody in the league for pace and that is a valuable commodity. A good coach may help sort him out.
I’m not al doom and gloom, though nor does one result change my mind bout our deficiencies.

Comment #57” we need to be patient and get behind pardew and the team. and not expect us to win great ALL the time. even chelsea scraps win occasionally.”
With respect what a load of condescending claptrap. When do we ever win great or more to the point when do we ever win? Oh yeah yesterday at home against a promoted club.
Keep saying it but Soto had way more disruption but have a manager who plays football and a similar manager would have the same impact here.

Comment #58@Small World // Oct 19, 2014 at 1:35 PM
It’s just one game but we have lost only once in the last 5 and have came back from goals down to draw the game. there are positives for sure.
but the one important thing fans should know is that we have a very poor squad. Cabella isn’t adapting to this league anytime, rivierre so far has been poor, colback is average, obertan, headless chicken sisokko, and aside from the average janmaat the rest of our defence is….terrible.
we have a below average team and we will be fighting relegation all season long. that’s a fact. pardew isn’t going anywhere and he’s a manager that at best can give us mid table. he’s doing his best and alot of things are not his fault.
it’s going to be a long hard season and the faster the fans just get behind pardew and support the team, the more points we can pick up. the more fans belief and over exaggerate our players and puts pressure on our team, we’ll be going down so fast we won’t know what hit us.

Comment #59i hope obertan continues to play the way he has so far this season, he’s got the ability to show us what he can do, it’s just having the confidence, he’s got so much pace it’s unbelievable, probably our quickest player.
I will be glad when Aarons is fit, him on the left and obertan on the right.

yes correct. we don’t have a manager of Koeman ability or the intelligence of Tadic or the holding up ability of Pelle and the industrious displays of Scheneiderlin.
We have a below average team and a below average manager and we are exactly where we deserve to be. we are overestimating our players and our defence is a shambles with a ”CAPTAIN” that wanted to go back home. he’s a rubbish captain. Pardew fault? no.
If you want to vent it, vent at Ashley. who refused to sanction a defender signing which pardew was crying out for.

and we know Ashley is going nowhere, nor do we have any guarantee that Ashley will sanction any signings in january. he doesn’t care even if we have 1 defender left, as long as it saves money.
so you shutting the trap, and getting behind team and pardew and given support to our players. and we might just scrap a 17th place finish which is very good by our standards.

it’s not me who decides the managers fate mate it’s ASHLEY.
you might like great tactics and entertainment but me i would just watch teams like barcalona for that. we have not won a trophy for 56 years ,it was the passion commitment and spirit from both the crowd and players which so well known and that has been removed by that fat cockne b@stard.
i don’t give a sh1t how badly we play because to tell you the truth i would gladly see the club drop down and get rid of that fat b@stard once and for all as he won’t get all the TV advertising or premier league TV deals.
that will always remain my big anger because
unless you can explain to me a perfectly logical explanation for ashley giving a manager who got a great spirit restored and had us sitting in 10th place the FCUKEN SACK, yet allows a fcuken manager who has had 1 relegation battle already and caused a once united crowd to now become totally divided is still able to remain as manager then why should i change from anti ashley to anti parjew.

Comment #70Ilovetoon , there are people here that have different opinions than mine but I consider as decent persons nevermind how they think, like Markaccus, Manx, Welsh, etc… but you are too annoying and deluded, I cant believe you are not trolling. Btw, Ben Arfa was average yesterday cause he kept on tracking back to show people like you that he can do it, but eventually lost his football doing it. He had no freedom and was obviously scared to do what he does best.
