Moussa Sissoko had a great second half for Newcastle United yesterday, in our amazing come from behind win at Tottenham, and he didn’t have a bad first half either.
Moussa Sissoko – great game yesterday
At half time we looked second best by quite a way to an attacking Spurs side, but Alan Pardew seemed to analyze the situation perfectly, and he brought on Sammy Ameobi and Remy Cabella at the start of the second half – and told the lads to attack Spurs – and it completely changed the game.
Moussa Sissoko was a dominant force for Newcastle, and he looked like the great Patrick Vieira of Arsenal in that second half, and he was too much for the Spurs players – and he has a massive 64% of the vote.
And Ayoze Perez topped off a promising starting debut in the Premier League with a nice headed goal after 58 minutes to win the game for Newcastle, for the second season running and the Spaniard is second in our poll.
.Sammy was great in the second half and scored after just 6.57 seconds – timed by NBC Sports – and that put Newcastle right on the front foot from the get go.
Ameobi is finally showing the form we know he is capable of, and that’s first PL goal for the side, and of course it was Ayoze’s first goal ever for Newcastle too.
Steven Taylor is next in the voting and he again had a strong battling game at the back, and when Mike Williamson is fit again he will not walk straight back into the side, with Steven showing such good form in the last couple of games.
And finally Remy Cabella showed some of what he is capable of, and he set up Perez’ goal brilliantly and made some good runs at the defense in the second half – it will give the Frenchman some confidence that he can become a great payer for us in the Premier League.
A win is a win, and that’s the second win in a row, so we are now on 10 points from 9 games and we are 14th in the league table.
It’s all good news for Newcastle United this morning, after this rather sensational second half comeback yesterday. 😀
