Star Youngster – I Hope To Thrive At This Great Club

Ayoze Perez has been like a breath of fresh air at Newcastle, and although the 21 year-old Spaniard was brought in as one for the future, he has already appeared 10 times for Newcastle this season, and he scored his first goal for the club on Sunday with a beautiful header, to win the game at White Hart Lane.

Ayoze revealed yesterday that both Real Madrid and Barcelona were after him in the summer, but he signed on at Newcastle because we were so keen to sign him, and it looks like he made a decent decision, with 10 appearances already under his belt.

Perez has looked full of skill and talent at Newcastle, and to score the winner like he did on Sunday was something to behold.

Newcastle fought back and shocked Spurs with a very good performance in the second half, and won the game two great goals from Sammy Ameobi and Ayoze in the first 15 minutes of the second half.

Perez was asked if he could be the long term replacement for Loic Remy:

“I don’t think it is appropriate to compare me with him.” “We have different qualities and everyone does his own job. But what I hope is to thrive at this great club.”

“Every time I play, I tried to give the most of me. I’m preparing to be ready to play and then the coach decides.” “It was incredible to score my first goal for Newcastle.”

“Everything went well. I cannot ask for more. I am very happy for the goal but especially for the team’s victory. The manager has congratulated me for it.”

“In the first half we were not good, but we managed to fix a couple of details at half-time, and we changed the game completely in the second half.”

Alan Pardew is getting loads of praise for the way he completely changed the game in the second half, and we won for the second time running at White Hart Lane – and it was unbelievable.

But Newcastle have to keep up their good form and keep getting results, and next up for us is Manchester City tomorrow night in the League Cup.

Perez is expected to start that game, with both Cheick Tiote and Papiss Cisse being out for the next two games.

As we said before, Perez is like a breath of fresh air and he’s been a very positive surprise at Newcastle this season.

Perez will grow in confidence now, if he gets the support that was denied for Riviere he should do well. On the other hand, if we play like we did in the first half vs Spuds it could be a case of another promising player destroyed by the inept one.

I hope he gets the support he needs as this kid could be phenomenal for us.

Bets any money Pardew is gonna think play Perez regular cause he scored one goal and took alot pressure off. Pardew is very predicable, and Perez won’t do very much against city as they are twice as strong in defence. We must mix it up and play 2 up front against city. Riviere should get a game
