Pardew – This Lad’s The Best Of The Bunch

Alan Pardew has singled out Paul Dummett as Newcastle’s best young performer so far this season,  and the Kenton lad has certainly been a pleasant surprise because the 23 year-old struggled at the beginning of the season like a number of Newcastle’s other players.

Paul Dummett – singled out by Pardew today

There’s a good chance if Steven Taylor still isn’t fit then Paul will play alongside Mike Williamson in central defense on Saturday, and certainly he put in an excellent performance there at West Brom our last time out.

This is what Alan Pardew has said about some of our new players:

“The question is, Perez, Cabella, Riviere, Jack and Daryl: How are they going to progress from this point?”  “Because all of those new players have done well.”

“And how have our young players, like Dummett, who has certainly been the outstanding performer as a young player, followed closely by Sammy, Arma and Aarons.”

“How are they going to do for us?”

Paul isn’t exactly young these days, having turned 23 in September and by the time Lionel Messi was that age, he had already been voted the Worlds’ Best Player four times in a row.

But Paul has certainly improved a lot this season and it’s just great to see – and Paul has shown he can play both at left back and center-back, and is becoming accomplished in both positions.

And it’s always good that not only do we have more English (make that British) players in the side, but Newcastle also have a number of local lads too.

That wasn’t true a couple of years ago and it makes a difference.

    C’mon Ed, Dummet’s not young at 23?

Bet you and some other posters – me included – wish you were that old again!

Impressed with your kindness and humility you’ve shown after your Christmas visit to the orphanage. It’s just a pity that governments weren’t as conscientious. Just think if all the money spent on corruption, arms and opulence were invested in nations’ peoples and worthwhile projects it would go a long way to alleviating poverty.

You ever thought about kick-starting a fundraising exercise mong NUFC fans to support the orphanage – and have it painted black and white!

You never know, the Club might even chip in to help – now that’d be good PR eh?

wtf are you on about man or a mouse !!!. The whole point of my post was that in seven years of posting where I have recieved loads of abuse because of my views I have never once complained about it as I give enough back, the reason I complained was because a certain individual with multiple accounts mnade the blog almost impossible to use. Read my posts properly before asking me stupid questions and making me out to be some sort of cry baby !!
