first of all gutted for raylor i’m just hoping that as he walked off its a good sign that it won’t be a long 1

onto the game brilliant 1st 25 mins where we should’ve got a couple but they had a very good shape with 11 behind the ball so hard to break down a deserved win though

perez today showed wat a player he’s gonna be he wins things wriggles out of things scores things runs all over things 🙂

sisko and colback deserve the praise but so do sammi and the much criticised willo and dummet
they stopped everything aswell as willo showing some skills

    4th in the league !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The real positive from the game were all the young players. Colback, haidara, ayoze , dummett , ameobi…all played really, really well.

Qpr were horrible, it must be said. Particularly their fullbacks.

I thought we’d be beaten today -but all credit to the lads for the win. Poor football overall but it’s three points in the bag and we are fourth in the league. Hope that the Arsenal/Man u game is a draw so we retain our position.
The power of Sissoko is a thing to behold -whilst his close control is sometimes wanting -the way he leaves the opposition for dead is remarkable.

Great win today, be nice if we can stay there, don’t see any reason why we can’t.

    Good effort lads.

    Mag92 – ‘Williamson is awful’

Really, you seem to be in a minority.

Speaking of minorities, where’s Catchy? Could he be having post-match drinks with Pardew?

    C’mon Catchy, don’t be shy.

good… really happy the way team is playing..

to me Cabella is just lacking that bit of confidence to run past players from standstill something HBA had.

come jack we really do need a proved ST a winger and a CB.

    Sky is the limit….

Sissoko has been superb, our form has a lot to do with him… glad Colback is playing well, must keep it up…

tuff for the 1st 25 minutes it wasn’t poor football at all and for a few very nice attacks all game

the final 3rd was a problem but that happens when a team are behind the ball

the passing and switching and pace all game was certainly not “poor football”

Well what a difference a few weeks make, I hope Pardew can keep it going it is certainly a lt better sitting where we are, in fact it’s bloody great, I hope Mashley backs him n January rather than looking at a team that could be pushing top six could easily hit top 12 without Krul, Tiote and Sissokho. I still would like a quality C brought in to replace STaylor though.

Catchy’s obsessed with Pardew, and now we’ve got you obsessing with Willo.

Be careful or you’ll be taken in for tests like what Catchy was!

manx – there were a couple of “edge of the seat” moments in the first half. Apart from that I do not think it was scintilling stuff at all. There may be a view that in view of the fact we won – it is immaterial anyway.
Additionally we had a couple of breakaways in the second half where we probably should have scored. But overall -it was not top quality stuff. You may take another view but opinion is what it is all about.

We all hope Ashley builds on the momentum in January but he’s not keen on distractions like cups and Europe so…..

Aaaaaannnnnyyyyyyyway, with Ashley, let’s prepare for the worst and so we’ll not be too disappointed if he doesn’t add quality to the squad.

I would still like us to keep Tiote and tie him down to a long term contract, howay man if Gouffrans the best we can do for a replacement then it shows we are stretched thin in that positin, and even without todays injury at 30 RTaylor was never going to be a long term option.

If we are fourth now with the injuries we have got, imagine where we would finish with a fully fit squad.

I agree there was nothing special (only saw 2nd half mind). But i thought it was quite decent for a side with so many injuries. We controlled the game. Sign of a good side to play average and win. Long may it continue 😀

Your likes of Catchy, Rotonda, LR32 etc don’t do themselves any favours at all by completely stopping their posts when we win as they would have all been on this evening had we have had a lifeless 0-0.
