Can Newcastle Bounce Back At Burnley – Poll

Only 12% of Newcastle fans thought we would lose the game at West Ham on Saturday, with 48% thinking we could win the game, so losing was a bit of a shock, when we went down 1-0 at Upton Park.

Next up in our first of seven games in December are Burnley at Turf Moor, and Alan Pardew has made it clear that it’s important for Newcastle’s young side to bounce back.

But with Moussa Sissoko and Jack Colback suspended, and Mehdi Abeid and Ryan Taylor both injured, it’s not clear who will come in to take their places other than Dutchman Vurnon Anita should get a start.

We also have Tim Krul out for about five games with an ankle injury, so once again we have lots of injuries to contend with.

Should the title be ‘Can Pardew bounce back?’

Taylor, Abeid, Colback and Sissoko all out leaves a big hole where our midfield should be. Glad to hear Aarons is on the mend. Presumably, Dummy will stand in for Janmaat if Colo is fit. If not, it will probably be Staylor at RB with Anita needed in midfield.
