Two Newcastle Stars Not Fit For Chelsea

It was disappointing to hear from Alan Pardew that Rolando Aarons was not fit to play tomorrow against Chelsea – and the Newcastle manager said the 18 year-old will be fit for the following Saturday at Arsenal, but Alan said last week he would be fit for the Chelsea game – as we recall.

His hamstring injury is taking longer then first thought to clear up, but if it’s not ready, it’s not ready – and he came back too early at Manchester City from the same type of injury and caused his current problems.

We had hoped that Rolando could come straight back into the side in place of the injured Sammy Ameobi, who will also not be fit for tomorrow, and will probably not be available for the game at Arsenal a week on Saturday.

There was no update yesterday on the injury to Sammy but he will definitely not play tomorrow, which is what the manager said after the game at Burnley on Tuesday night..

Both young players have been outstanding for Newcastle this season – so it’s disappointing that both will not play tomorrow.

Alan Pardew was non-committal about whether Fabricio Coloccini will be fit for tomorrow, and he’s been out four weeks aftre coming off after 75 minutes at West Brom, but we think Fabricio will start the game.

If he’s not fully fit Fabricio could at least play the first half tomorrow, and we have Mike Williamson and Paul Dummett available but we expect Steven Taylor and Coloccini to start the game tomorrow in central defense.

But once again we are not sure what the team will be tomorrow, and we’re sure that’s intentional because Pardew wants to keep Jose Mourinho guessing just a little bit on our team.

But Alan was pleased that Matic is not available because of his one game suspension, because Alan said in the press conference that he’s been one of their best players this season, and everything seems to go through the Serbian International.

He also said he might be ready for west ham then he should be ready for burnley and after burnley he said he should be ready for Chelsea.

The kings done this throughout his tenure here, I don’t know if it’s to appease supporters fears of players being out longer than expected but just tell the truth. What’s two, three weeks though eh to us thicko newcastle fans.

Not expecting anything from Saturday other than a defeat.
Surprised so many people have us down for a win when we can’t beat Burnley or West Ham, have a huge injury list and are facing one of the most expensive squads in the premiership ( and therefore the world)

Dummett should stay in central defense. He has been outstanding there so far. Ideally with Colo. Perez should replace Ameobi on the wing. Otherwise we play 4 midfielders in a 442. Intriguing.
