Great – Magpies Have Red Devils Exactly Where We Want Them

It looks like the conventional wisdom is that Manchester United should beat Newcastle fairly easily on Boxing Day – so that’s probably good news – because when Newcastle are not expected to do well they do – and vice versa.

Paul Merson – 3-0 to Red Devils

The 46 year-old Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has predicted a 3-0 win for the Red Devils, and he had this comment on the Boxing Day game.

“United had a bad result against the 10 men of Villa. I’m not totally convinced by them yet to be honest but then again, Newcastle are not up to much either.”

“Newcastle pulled up trees to win five on the bounce (it was actually six in all competitions) but they have come unstuck again now. United will be too strong.”

And his view doesn’t differ too much from that of Newcastle fans.

So we’ve got Manchester United exactly where we want them – everybody – including the fans –  think we will lose the game.

Wasn’t that what everybody also though about the opposition when we played Chelsea?

That’s an upset in the making if we ever saw one. 😀

Feel sorry for Man Utd, their players will be squabbling over who keeps the match ball.

Btw I also find it worrying that someone would want to pester their nemesis player on twitter. Never considered stooping to stalking tactics to get my grievances across. it’s a bit much.

The only way to play ManUre is attack from the outset & keep attacking Their defense is one of the worst in the EPL

In a way it’s the players own fault for getting involved with Twitter. It’s funny, though, getting called a brain dead so and so by someone like Toonbotherer kind of vindicates my opinion.

Like Arsenal and Spurs before them, Man U are a very ordinary side who will be given far too much respect by Alan Pardew. They are far from being world beaters and if the right tactics are employed I see no reason why we can’t take points.

I fear the worst, Pardew has referred to his normal tactics, and i believe we will get a real 5-0 trouncing tomorrow !

The only doubt is by how many we shall lose by? Afterwards, just wait for all the Shjiiiiiiite which appears on here?
