Personally me like most Nufc fans want a foreign yet unproven manager the likes of Koeman/Laudrup but I would make an exception to give Moyes the shot.

Personally I don’t care where the managers from as long as they are good

    I’d also prefer someone proven

for the people criticizing those who are talking down about carver

you have to understand it’s due to fear; people fear that this possibility might actually come to fruition….JC being appointed manager.

It’s not the right move. 95% of us recognize that, and we realize for the first time in four years we have a chance to do SOMETHING right. For all of Ashley’s inanity we still live in hope he may do something not just for the good of finances, but for the team. Carver is not the guy to bring that about.

Anyway, cannot wait to see the back of Alnwick. I understand people defending him because he’s young and this is his first real go-round, but he’s a conference keeper at best. that’s the harsh reality

Riviere was poor and didn’t give enough effort. I reckon Carver thought he would at least get a shift out of Armstrong. However, the Armstrong looks completely out of his depth and I’ll say it again that he’ll follow the same path as Campbell. Tiote and Colo were shocking.

I’d like to Steve mclaren a shot . Did a decent job with boro, cracking job abroad and looks as though he’s taking Derby up.
Think he would be a great call if we could get him

Don’t think Carver deserves it. It look him like 10 mins today to realize that Burnley went 3-5-2 something wich I spotted straight away on a crappy laggy stream.

That’s how they got back into it by bossing the midfield.

Since he took Gouff and Rivi off it should have been for Cabella Anita to flood the Midfield to see the game out.

I’d like to see Alnwick and Elliott have a race to see who could touch their toes the quickest without rupturing themselves.

Sadly that was a but like watching Pardew today…he probably need a few more games, but Carver needs to distance himself from Pardew football wise if he ever wants to manage in the PL!

Jst back from the game, first halve great, prob best opening 45 of the season for me,2nd halve,v poor, how such a change JC wat you said to them at halvetime?,Alnwick sorry,he is poor jst not good enough quality,we need a Keeper on loan to see us over,Harper bk as player coach?and why we persiting with Armstrong,i know he a local lad,but do i care no,dont care if he was ruddy martian as long as he could do a job,so stop trying to apease the local masses with him,and loan him out to a lower league were he can learn and put some hairs on his chest so to speak, but at the min,he is No were near good enough for the prem, and Fatman blow those cobwebs out your bk pocket,we can not rely on Willo till end of season or we are going to struggle.

    OP

I had been waiting to hear that the Colo thing (for manager) was just some sort of joke too ridiculous to be funny. But nothing came.

Meanwhile in all this chaos MA is strolling around Barbados with his speedos on like that geezer from the Southern Comfort advert, either that or a looky likee of Ray Winston out of Sexy Beast.
    Only at the Toon eh.

Hope everyone’s watching the Spuds smashing Chelsea. Brilliant!

I wonder if our excellent first half performance is just the result of a group of motivate players determined to give a good show being told to express themselves. Unfortunately when we needed tactics because Burnley mixed it up, we had none :/

Well clearly Carver is just as tactically gifted as Pardew as we were knocking it long to Adam Armstrong FFS .

The sooner we get a continental manager the better .

What’s Stavers saying now? He’s always supported Pardew until just before we went on the 5 game win run when he said he had to go. After that win run he continued as if he had always backed Pardew and his support had been vindicated. Unbelievable.

Hazard is fantastic but I just love watching Aguero play he’s just a little too injury prone, though it never stops him from going full tilt. Best striker in the world for me

Di Maria is very good but not at that level imo a shade below them
