    Felt much better !!

No need to boycott or think silly things now.I think everything is clear under that interview.we should be behind the team from now on,whether the next leader is JC or someone else.I will be surprised if someone other than JC get the hot sit by January 31…

Average Contents, top of the league 2 table at the moment, everyone speaks so highly of the fella in ever way who is involved with the club, some fans are saying he is a yes man now, and it has turned a few fans for sure, but i think its unfair on Pedro, after all both he and Bobby Moncur are probably the two best ambassadors and honest employees at NUFC.

Its a bit of a leading question isnt it?
At the end of the day the BIGGEST problem with the club isnt Ashley. Charnley, the coach (now tha Pardews histort) or the squad.
The biggest problem is the fact we have a TERRIBLE player embedded in our first team.
Get rid of him and our foturnes will transform for the better

A joke club. Unworthy of the supporters who have undergone a full frontal lobotomy in the last 5 years. They would turn up to watch 11 ants kitted out in black and white. sad.

Absolutely worse, There are no positives to be gleaned from this stage managed interview. Again the fans expectations have been lowered (if they can actually get any lower).

The fans were hoping that with a new head coach we may be able to move forward, The statement clearly shows us that will not happen. The new head coach will have even less input on transfers than the inept one had, and will only be allowed to talk about team selection and the game we are or have just played.

We here little enough from the club as it is, and unless Penfold finds a new way to communicate to the fans, (always makes me laugh that bit) then we will here a lot less.

This new way of communicating with the fans had better not include Bendy Wendy or Bishop because we all know you cannot believe a word either of them say.

All in all while the statement says a lot, it actually tells us very little.

    Ed…What about an “indifferent” option?

For what he actually said, he may as well just laughed or sighed.

Some will claim at least we know where we stand…I would argue that we already did and that since when can we take what the club say on face value?

    Ugghhh.

hibbit, young Aarons and Callum Roberts have both stated recently the debt they owe PB, i also have watched a lot of under 21 games, more to the point which players do you know who say PB is not a good coach?… i know Paul Dummet personally and i can assure you how highly he rates PB.

There’s surely no way anyone can possibly feel better after that statement!

It compounded and confirmed all of the dark truths we have come to realise over the last 3 years.

The biggest farce of it was talking about the long term strategy, you cannot have a long term strategy without a short term one as you will forever be chasing the long term and neglecting the present. This is essentially what has happened since Ashley took over, we’ve been fed these ‘long term aims’ that have come nowhere near close and have constantly shifted.

As I read it all hope sapped away, I don’t really know where to go from a personal perspective with regard to the club now. I haven’t attended since early 2013 anyway out of principle but have still held the passion and desire to watch us and support us. Now I it’s horrible scenario whereby I’m torn between natural affection and loyalty for the team and the badge and strong hatred for the club regime.

It’s difficult. We all come online and vent because it’s the only outlet we have but it’s becoming ever more volatile and is hurting the support as a whole creating factions.

He told us nothing we already didn’t know. This isn’t the days after relegation where any communication with the club was seen to be a step in the right direction.

Speaking of communications with the club – what the hell happened to our supposed ‘fan liason officer’?

Ibiza – you got it in one.
100% indifference – I’ll continue to watch from the comfort of my sofa and not a penny will FCB get from me.
I think we will stay up this season, the players have enough about them to avoid relegation. IF the give the job to Carver in May, I think we would be one of the favourites to be relegated in the 15/16 season.

Graeme…I really can’t see how anything that has been said would have swayed anyone one way or another 🙂

As for relegation, my automatic feeling is we’ll be fine, but I remember thinking that a few years back too. We need to start collecting some points soon, before it all becomes too desperate again.

Fasten up lads, this could get bumpy.

Credit to the club for the”continuity policy.” It is sticking by Carver. Why wouldn’t they as he has done a good job in the last few weeks. What more does he need to do to get the job permanently? An 8 year contract would be a start to show they are right behind him.

Worse because all of our fears and speculations have been confirmed.

But I have notice that since this statement came out none of the fans have talked about rebelling, no talk of walkouts, boycotting, or attacking Sports Defect. So you would have to say job well done Charnley.

Catchy…Sorry, must have missed it. Can’t say I’m surprised you objected though 🙂

Shall we save each other the heartache and agree to disagree? Not sure I can be arsed to go through the debate to determine whether a now previous manager, was average or poor.

Let’s agree he wasn’t good enough for what we as fans want for our club? Dimplomacy rules!
