Newcastle After Two Spanish Youngsters This January

Newcastle signed Ayoze Perez in the summer for €2M, and the 21 year-old Spaniard has turned out be a terrific signing for Newcastle, so it’s not too surprising that Newcastle are after another Spanish younger – Racing Santander 18 year-old forward David Concha, who is a Spanish U-19 forward, who usually plays on the wing.

There’s news in Spain that Newcastle are hoping to tie up a deal to bring the youngster to Newcastle before the January transfer window closes next Monday.

David has played 24 times for the Santander first team with 3 goals and 3 assists, and he made his debut for Racing in December of 2013, when he had only just turned 17.

This season he has played 21 times for the club, scoring two goals, and he usually plays on the wing for the Spanish side.

So it seems that Newcastle will only bring in some top youngsters in this January transfer window, and no players to help the first team squad through the end of the season.

The deal is what we did with Karl Darlow and Jamaal Lascelles of Nottingham Forest last summer, and we will loan David back to Racing Santander in Spain’s second division for the rest of the season.

Racing Santandar are currently fourth bottom of the Spanish second division and in real danger of being relegated.

It seems that Newcastle are now scouting heavily in both Spain and Germany – and we could see players coming in from both countries over the summer.

Apparently Concha has already visited St James’ Park this season, and he was at the derby game against Sunderland, when we lost to a last minute goal from Adam Johnson.

And apparently Newcastle have other Spanish youngsters on their radar who can Newcastle in the future.

jorge mere

17 year-old Jorge Mere – of Sporting Gijon

Another Spanish player we are reported to be interested in is Spanish U19 International center-back Jorge Mere of Sporting Gijon, who turns 18 in April,  and the news is that we are also trying to get a deal done to bring him to Newcastle this month too, and we will immediately loan him back to Sporting Gijon for the rest of the season.

As we have reported in the last day or two, it looks like we may have completed a deal to bring 18 year-old MK Dons midfielder Dele Alli to Newcastle for around £4M, and then loan him back to MK Dons for the rest of the season.

And then the Spanish market wises up and take us to task for trying to poach some of their best talent, just like the French did.

It depends not compared with top player
wages these days. I think we paid 80.000 with Remy. Or at least that was his reported wage at QPR.

all for this. i think spain and gemany could be very fruitful.

This system of recruiting good youngsters, developing them and selling for massive profit adn then re-stocking with the next big things is great under a Wenger / FDB / Klopp etc …

Any chance these clubs that we are heavily scouting in Europe would be able to take some of our B-team players on-loan?

Looks like there is more brass in buying cheap and hoping to sell high than in developing a team and winning. Big time feeder club here we come!

Certainly could be worth taking a gamble on Pato. He still young. As long as he gets passed a medical.

Interesting to see if we do now establish a link with a specific club to send our youngsters on loan, similar to the arrangement that Chelsea & Vitesse Arnhem currently have.

They did a great deal with Perez – now we are looking to repeat it!! All those French lessons could be wasted – Spain is the new France!!

Too young to know better? Could this really be NUFC looking for players? Seems doubtful to me. Sounds like rumors being substituted for ambition (or desperation) to find a few goals to survive.
That said, with Abeid coming back into the team, and Santon rounding into form, the points can be secured without laying out any cash.

If folk were smart instead of disparaging all the time ,this item could fuel a bit of detective work. These kids names were not snatched from the air, perhaps the incoming manager had something to do with them. Which of the current possibilities still has contacts in Spain.
    Karanka
    Schuster
    Laudrup
    Paul Clement
and in the far left field , David Moyes

Nice bit of business if it happens and they are talented. Next stop is a highly motivated coach who will work with the talent brought in by Carr/ Charnley in the summer.

If we are recruiting youth this winter/summer, I’d be excited to see what FDB would do with them. Lots of assumptions for what would happen in that sentence, but it would certainly be exciting.

Let’s hope Carver does well and is kept on because alot of deluded fans are in for more disappointment, people should know better by now, there won’t be some top manager coming in. Remember there’s a regime. Only yes men are required.
On new signings, of course if there is someone brought in he’ll have to have potential sell on for profit value.

Enjoy your budget football season ticket holders.

I mean, Carver may be out of his depth, probably is, but I’ve watched better football under him than in the last few years when the fox was serving up unwatchable games.
AP took the team at about tenth, delivered it there. He done NOWT.

So, why not hope for better, rather than fear the worst… which, I would not be surprised if it happened with AP ANYWAY.

Please remember the football and humiliation with that guy in charge. Can it get worse? Come on.

I dont like ashley as much as the next guy and i want a new owner as well but we are the best we have ever been in terms of finances thanks to him i think the rest of the club is going well apart from the way he sells players because we arent top four quality atm we are right to want to be there yes ! And also graham carr is doing the best job personally when people say we dont buy quality we do look at the likes of sissoko?

The sad thing is we’re only a couple of quality signings away from alot more to be positive about.
I don’t mind Carver been given a shot but any manager will struggle with weaknesses in our squad.

So. Would those two signings mean we’ve got the experienced CB and striker we’ve waited so long for?

Daft question though we’ll never be sure how Ashleyski’s mind works – though I wonder if they’ll be Rangers bound for a while?

Now that sounds more like his style of thinking ????

The loan to of our players to Rangers arrangement’s been promised by Llambias.

Could that be Ashleyski’s intention with these two? Highly likely – he shafts, starves and bleeds NUFC dry while we subsidise his ambitions for Rangers!

Of course we desperately need a quality proven striker, that’s our major problem, lack of goals, we have no Remy, Ba, AC or Shearer type player in our squad. And we desperately need another quality CB having the likes of Willimson in a premier league squad is ridiculous.
