Poll – Can Newcastle Get First Win Of 2015 At Hull?

Since Alan Pardew’s last game in charge on December 28th against Everton, when we scraped a win 3-2 at home, Newcastle have played four games under John Carver and we have drawn one and lost the last three.

John Carver – needs a win

John says we have played well in patches over those four games, but the results are simply not good enough,  and we need to see the Newcastle players earning their (big) wages and get us the win at the KC Stadium on Saturday.

After all, it’s against a side who are struggling against relegation this season.

We have lost five of our last seven league games and garnered only four points from them so we need to buck up – and soon.

John Carver has still to prove to the Newcastle fans that he’s good enough even for the caretaker manager role through the end of the season – and it’s all about getting results.

2-1 win to us I reckon, for no other reason that I despise Mrs Doubtfire

@3 whilst I share your concern, I believe there are at least 3 worse teams with worse coaches than us, so I think we will be fine, lowermid table, not ideal, but better than the champo.

Can’t see the players wanting to lose out on their bonus payments, so maybe, just maybe they will play a little better and try for that 10th place.

I can’t believe that this fixture has been picked for TV. Not sure what the cameras expect. Two Geordie coaches/managers, two teams in awful runs of form. Still, at least I will get to watch it in relative peace as the bar will be quiet until a game of interest comes on.

I think we will win this one. I’m hoping Abeid can come in to the team for this one, and Cisse at least making the bench, although I see no reason why he shouldn’t start here given his lack of playing time at AFCON. De Jong on the bench as well potentially.

As long as Carver takes the game to Hull from the off we should be okay, an we are starting o look like we should have enough on the bench to prevent the second half slumps we have had recently.

I see Phil “it’s all about me/how very dare you look at me” Dowd will be in charge at the weekend. Hate him. The signs aren’t good.

Not a long term solution by any means, and I have to admit I have seen very little of him in recent years so he may have gone downhill, but Jospeh Yobo is available on a free transfer at the moment. He would at least offer some additional experience and presence to our back line, even if only on a short term deal till summer.

Not saying we will get relegated by any means but if we lose against Hull it will be the first time this season I will concede we can be relgated.

Why is it when we are always close to transfer deadline line day that we are always linked with a few players and then nothing happens.

C’mon Lil, be realistic! There’s no way Herr Ashley’d allow spending a few quid on a short-term CB – even if there’s a couple of million quid per standing at stake!

The man’s an oaf when it comes to running a football club.

When we hear of all of the suffering throughout the world – and you’re close to some in Malawi at the moment – it seems so unjust that Ashley manages to avoid any.

It’s not that I’d wish suffering on anyone but there are some more deserving of it than others.

So have people been off buying season tickets this morning?

…you know if you cancel your tickets you might not be able to attend the big ones (not treat) 😉

Uncle Ashley wants you to join the corporation

    Guys Newcastle is no country or ideology – it’s corporate communism in its worst form;

…I know tequila got confused about the term and had to look it up and now think it only have to do with Obamacare!

It’s actually quite real and it’s taking the enjoyment and purpose out of everything. It’s about the money and overcharging those who depend on it.

Lining your own pocket on behalf of the system! The biggest scam since (pick of your choosing) 🙂
