MOTM to me was Anita. Possibly his best game for the club.

Although a little chap he was head and shoulders over the Hull midfield.

Cabella was excellent and is growing (at long last) into the Premiership. Perez – well what can I say. Such consistency is remarkable especially in such a young man new to this country and the Premiership.

Your grammer is as poor as your hero, ”where was”

Kind of confirms your total lack of footballing knowledge if you didn’t spot several excellent one touch passing moves and link up play.

It’s strange how you almost seem to want us to fail now AP has gone

Even you can’t bring me down on a day like today. AP’s gone, get over it, unbuckle your face and try spreading a little happiness.

i only see the second half but i’d go

    cabella
    anita
    perez
and then 4th slot williamson just because he deserves the credit as we slate him enough but he was a rock in the second half and not mentioned for a lot of good things he did.

Still think though we played a bit too deep, however the result was brilliant and we played some good stuff.

Few players now that didn’t perform under pardew are starting to perform under carver e.g. cabella, anita, gouffran

Very decent three points in the bag.Even though Hull were shocking a win is a win. Hopefully a bit of confidence will emerge – we did not look as panicky as we did under King Percy.
Stoke next Sunday at SJP – really to feel a bit more safe we need three points from them. All in all a good day – could get better if Palace lose.

My man of the match for this game would be Haidara. Quality game from him, very dangerous when attacking and first to every ball. He would be followed by Anita and then Cabella. Perez was unlucky not to score, I cant believe how consistent he is. Can you imagine how good he would be in a team where he doesnt have to chase after a lost cause or fight for after ball.

Surprisingly I agree with Manxpie here lol.

The olay’s were good but most of it was sideways and backwards and was for about 2-3 minutes, that is until willo got it, flapped and hoofed it and like someone else said only came about once we were 0-2 up. Hope it gives the lads more confidence to play snappy one twos more often. Obviously not all the time we ain’t Barcelona.

Not a great performance but not a bad one either. Much improved second half but still struggled in the final third to create chances which didn’t come from outside the box. Lacking that cutting edge from midfield to striker to link the play IMHO. Hopefully SDJ is that man.

Haha rotonda ya going on about grammar! Have a look back especially after you called tequila out the other day for it Your posts were full of bad grammar and spelling it’s just I and I’m sure tequilla aren’t sad enough to point it out!

On the game we played ok but your talking like we just played total football against the likes of barca which is deluded How dare I actually point out an honest view on the performance instead of going well over the top because of an ulterior motive!

Btw I will now be sad enough to point out all your spelling and grammar mistakes just to show ya how sad it really is!

Just a thought but what kind of win Percentage would Carver have to post for fans to accept him as the right man full time??
By May he’ll have managed 19 PL games. Long enough to judge. If he posts a win percentage of over 55% i think it’ll be hard not to appoint him…

::disclaimer – this is hypothetical And in no way am i calling for his appointment, im firmly a hoper that we take Cocu or Tuchel. Just wondering what Carver has to do to get the Fans onside full time

    just got in
    my MOM
    Joint: Anita and Cabella
    followed by Perez and Williamson.

Match: We were absolute shite first twenty minutes – steadily got into the game.
Once we scored only one team in it.
still got to learn when in control don’t need to force the pass/game keep the ball and work it around for a opening.

Who was poor: Colocinni and Sammi first half would of hooked him but what do I know came out second half and scored.

Again Krul poor at crosses into the six yard box – should of come for their best chance but made amends for poit blank stop.

Think it’s between Hairdara, Anita and Cabella although none were outstanding over full 90 or how much of it they played. Anita probably edged it for me with his controlled play in 2cnd half. Only poor game was from Colo who fortunately wasn’t punished for some reckless play.

Commentators on BT were saying how poor Hull were but some credit has to go to us for making that so especially in 2cnd half. Long way to go yet but credit Carver for starting team he did and keeping them at it when we were in front.

Still feeling uneasy until 2 up and even a little then as same old defensive frailties exist. With players to come in though we should be able to get another 10 points or so to stop us sweating and the sooner the better.

Great win for us. We had to survive a difficult period early on, but made it count when we got our chances. My concern at the moment is Coloccini. He seems to be all over the place. Anyway, at least I can enjoy the rest of the weekend and the dog doesn’t have to be scared!
