It’s A Great Boost – He’s Been Great

John Carver held his media briefing yesterday for the Stoke City game tomorrow, and he was upbeat and said he was very pleased with the performance and result last Saturday, and this week has been good in training.

Moussa Sissoko – has been great this season

This is some of what John said yesterday about Moussa Sissoko:

“I did tell you all he won’t be going anywhere.” “I was confident of that.” “It’s a great boost.” “It’s like signing another player because he’s been big for us.”

“He’s been our most consistent player.” “He gives the team such power and drive forward.” “It was important to keep him, I’m delighted.”

“No. He’s been great.” “He has been exactly the same, he’s focused on what he has to do.” “That was telling me he was going nowhere.”

It’s good that Moussa has been professional at Newcastle this season, and that he’s not been moaning, and we are still hoping we can have a decent run-in to the season in the final 15 games.

It will be a tough game tomorrow, but the fans are fairly confident that we can get a good result from this game.

AP was below average at Newcastle, his record documents that! If that was because his hands were forced and he didn’t have much of a say in the transfers, then look at his previous record!

He is probably an above average Championship manager (and below average PL manager).

If you take away the season he finished 5th at Newcastle (which I’d the season the sticks out) then his win percentage was 31%!

    Cyprus…from previous

The prediction that Pardew will go on ‘one of his famous runs,,,losing runs’. That can and does happen to all managers. But if it doesn’t, and he keeps Palace up from what was a precarious position, does that paint him in a more positive light then? Probably not for most NUFC fans. Minds have been made up a long time ago. Positions entrenched. The feeling of hope he fails from Pardews detractors, to prove them right, is tangible. My position was, and remains, that he did an ok job under the circumstances, was probably never the man to take us to the next level, and all in all played Ashley as well as could be expected. As I said, time will tell. If you’re objective anyway…

Nothing Surprises me anymore with this Club !

But, the biggest surprise to me in January was that no Big name Players were sold ?

Hopefully any future Head Coach coming in the Summer will take Note of this when they consider taking the Job?

Last weeks result was i thought, not about how good we were because Hull were no opposition really? In fact i would go so far as to say they were abyssmal and did,nt create that much in the whole game?

We still need a Striker, and a CB having loaned 5 players out and sold one to AS Roma !

No major outgoings, Santon was sold ( on loan 1st) but we know he will be gone) mbiwa for 5.5 mil fraudew for 3.5 mil benny gone, that’s probably in the region of 15 mil and all purples, about £200k per week off the wages, then he lets another 5 go to Rangers ,thats 8 down as well as the managers wages saved.
All in all that’s 1mil a month from wages and approximately £15 mil in player sales.equates to £20 mil by the end of the season.
He didn’t need to sell a major player , by the end of the season he,l have banked the dosh and reduced the squad size as well as guaranteeing the 5 players at Rangers get games to prove themselves…..good window for the slug. In the meantime were short of defenders so he lets 3 go, but hey , we’re on 30 points and surely even Carvew can keep us up from here.
I hope Carvew does well and we manage to get up to 7th and European football, that would really p1ss the slug off……HWTL

If you wanted proof that Carver is an imbecile, to make the statement “It’s like signing another player” should be sufficient. How stupid do they think we are? How many supporters will swallow that drivel? Carver out.
