This Is Result Newcastle Fans Expect Today Against Stoke

It’s just amazing what wins does for the confidence of both players and fans at Newcastle, and after what was a great win for us at Hull last week, there seems to even be some confidence being shown from the Newcastle fans for the game against Stoke today.

And while the performance last week wasn’t great, Newcastle fans were delighted with all 3 points – and it felt good.

And Hull gave Manchester City all they could handle at the Etihad Stadium yesterday, and it took a stoppage time equalizer from former Newcastle winger James Milner to get City a 1-1 draw, after David Meyler had out them ahead in the first half.

Maybe we caught Hull at a good time last week, or else maybe we were better than we thought we were last week?

The defense was still a bit dodgy and we’ll have to be more resilient today, but a good 61% think we can win this game today, and only 18% think we will lose it.

We’d probably be happy enough with a point, but wins is what takes clubs up the league table.

And given what’s been going on this season already, and (yet) another duck in the January transfer window, a good run of wins is what we need – continuing today at home to a good Stoke City side.

Howay The Lads!!

Is Siem playing for the U21?

…if so, I cannot see why he cannot be on the bench and be introduced for about 10-15 min. or so. It would be a good way for him to get up to speed and he should win back his place and not just get it back!

I would like to see s 4-3-3 with him in midfield though (instead of a 4-2-3-1)

Did something happen last night that killed the blog?

…I am beginning to suspect the night crawlers are no good for this blog…I remember the likes of Manx (sorry if you take offence) ruining it for everyone else. So ay night time you simply logged off.

Have to say Harry Kane has really impressed this season, at times he reminds me sheringham but there’s that ruthless side like a shearer there to. Hopefully England have a top player in the making and not an over rated one like Rooney.

Results rarely go our way when there is optimism.

This is a majority vote and even worse…Lawro has us down for a win!

    Surely we’re doomed 🙂

As for the previous thread and JC being a man who responds to criticism…I think most are aware, we remember the Southampton game.

I think they missing aspect to his statement is whether he reacts positively to criticism.

Still, “stand by your man” and all that. Go JC and the boys! I have some local bragging rights at stake today…let’s take down those slightly more fortunate mackems.
