This Could Be Newcastle’s Team At Palace

Newcastle have played well in the last couple of games, and we have a feeling that John Carver could start the same side again at Selhurst Park tomorrow night against Crystal Palace and former boss Alan Pardew. that has started the last couple of games.

Vurnon Anita +Tottenham

Vurnon Anita – could keep his place for Palace game

It was just a pity that after some very good work in the game on Sunday against Stoke, we should give away an equalizer in the last minute.

But there were signs that the defense was playing a lot better, and in the end they were unlucky not to get their second clean sheet on the trot on Sunday.

We thought Newcastle played better against Stoke, than we had against Hull the week before.

Mike Williamson will probably keep his place, but Paul Dummett will be pushing him – so Mike needs to have another decent game tomorrow night.

And some terrible news tonight that Siem de Jong has suffered a collapsed lung and will be out another two months and maybe even for the rest of the season.

This is the side we think John will start tomorrow night and hopefully we can get all 3 points.

Krul
Janmaat Williamson Coloccini  (c) Haidara
Anita Sissoko Colback
Cabella Perez Ameobi

Carver could make some surprises since the last game was only a couple of days ago,  and he could perhaps bring in Mehdi Abeid for Vurnon Anita and Paul Dummett for Williamson.

But with a full 10 days until our next game at Manchester City, we think it will be the same again tomorrow night with maybe all three subs used in the second half.

What would your team be for tomorrow night?

Sold a dud mate, it’s great if we can get him playing but we’ve just pissed away 6m on an injury prone player!! Our medical team must be shite, player that good comes on the market and the only real interest is us…says a lot mate.

Go look at his injury record last season!! Forget the lung which collapsed again….like I said earlier I feel for the bloke but for the club he’s not even managed to get enough games to acclimatise!!

Well we could get dragged into this relegation battle, still got to play citeh, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs

I just read up on problems caused by a collapsed lung, apparently if it has happened once then it is most likely to occur again. Ajax would have known this and we should have known too.

The operation he had is said to fix the problem so it will never happen again. I hope so, we need his vision on the pitch next season.

I know mate, January was all about making money and saving money, Let’s see who leaves in the summer, and how many we bring in.(I say that last part in jest) but here’s hoping.

Joey Barton seriously still loves us

“Always nice to win. Especially when it’s against 5under1and… ????”

Surely the medical de jong had would’ve seriously looked at that as it was a recent problem no?
Or was it because he was for sale 5 mill cheaper than before and Ashley wet his pants in happiness he got a 10 mill player half price

So glad our squad was to full to buy any players in the window

Well we have had nothing from de Jong this season, so Ashley’s bargain is looking less of a bargain, serves that Fat Tw@ right.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery for de Jong though.

Palace have got their tails up at the minute – they’ll see this as 3 points for the taking. Confidence is an important factor. I voted that we’ll lose, and it could well be by a fair margin. By the way, I think it’s crazy that we don’t get a doctor to do our medicals. Apparently the tea- lady looked at Siem de Jong and said “he looks like a fit enough lad” and that was it. I know it saves Ashley having to pay a doctor, but it seems like false economy to me.

Abeid has to come in as does Dummett. I’d like to see Sammy dropped, either for Obertan or Cisse and have Perez pushed out wide because there’s no way Carver will abandon his bf’s formation. Not looking forward to tomorrow, can picture his smug face if they beat us, gonna be horrible.

Talk about a sucker punch with de jong feel sorry for the lad. Not a buying a striker now looks like a gamble every one could see we needed a new 1.

two useless players in the squad

    1) Williamson
    2) Anita

Get rid of them and we will be pushing for Europe

After Charva named Abeid being at fault for the Stoke goal he is hardly likely to put him ahead of Anita to start at Palace. Sammy was sluggish on Sunday and I would not be surprised if Oba got the nod this time with Cabella on the left.
