This Is Result Newcastle Fans Expect At Crystal Palace

Newcastle fans were fairly confident of getting the win on Sunday against Stoke City with 61% of readers thinking we would win that game, and maybe that’s one reason it was so disappointing when Stoke scored their equalizer in the 90th minute.

But that confidence doesn’t stretch to today’s game at Crystal Palace and Alan Pardew, with only 35% believing we can win this game, but 45% think we will lose the game.

That could well be because Alan Pardew knows our players only too well, and how we play, and what the weaknesses of our players are.

It’s also true that Pardew is a lot more experienced in managing games from the sidelines than is John Carver, who of course was Alan’s right hand man during his four years on Tyneside.

And this week John has shown by his comments that he holds the former manager of Alan Pardew in the very highest esteem.

It will be very difficult to take if Crystal Palace beat us at Selhurst Park tonight – we can only hope that doesn’t happen.

    From the Beeb:
“Talks between Tim Sherwood and QPR about becoming manager at Loftus Road have ended.
Sherwood was the clear frontrunner after being contacted by the club following the resignation of Harry Redknapp, but negotiations with the ex-Spurs boss have come to a halt.
Real Madrid assistant manager Paul Clement and Brentford’s Mark Warburton have been linked with the position.
Former Swansea manager Michael Laudrup is not being considered for the role.”

Send them Carver, Stone & Woodman ASAP.
