An Inquiry To Be Launched After Palace Draw

After Papiss Cisse scored for Newcastle last night and the players were celebrating some coins were thrown at the Newcastle players, and one hit captain Fabricio Coloccini in the head.

And after the game last night John Carver was none too happy, and claimed that Coloccini could have been blinded in one eye by what appeared to be a coin:

“It just can’t happen can it?”  “It has got to be taken out of the game. What is disappointing from their point of view is that they have an unbelievable crowd here, an unbelievable atmosphere>”

“It is a fanatical group of supporters in that corner.”  “It takes one idiot to throw a coin, I have seen it and it misses Colo’s eye by an inch – another inch and it could blind him.”

And Palace manager Alan Pardew chimed in with this comment after the game:

“I saw the referee come over to the linesman and hand him something.” “It would be a shame if that was an incident, a random fan acting poorly.”

“If that is the case and that is unusual for this club if that is the case because we have a great record of behavior so I am sure we will look into it.”

The Argentine International was near the Holmesdale Road stand which was full of the local Palace supporters.

There needs to be an inquiry into this by Crystal Palace and the local police, and those who threw the coins need to be dealt with in an appropriate manner.

There is no place in today’s game for this kind of stupid and reckless behavior.

Bitterly disappointed after last night. Carver goes down in my estimation yet again after that shocking show of football and conceding the victory with his subs.

Bad news is we seem to be getting worse, which is tough.

Summer better bring some hope because this club is closest to its death as it has ever been.

Desperately poor match last night. Looked as if both teams had been ”Pardewed”

I feel sorry for Palace fans as they have it all to come. Bolasie, Gayle, Pucheon , Zaha are all exciting creative players who all too soon will become stifled and turned into robotic, Gouffran clones.

So Carver, is his own man, yeah right! ”Are you Pardew in disguise” was spot on. JC has made really, negative, risk free subs in virtually every game so far.

With all the TV money now sloshing about and 50000 home fans, how much longer do we really have to tolerate random third raters like Carver, Stone and Woodman?.

Should be an inquiry into why we played so badly! If this is sign of things to come I can see many fans finding something else to do with their time. I would have rather stuck pins in my eyes than watch that game again.

The soul of the club is dying on it’s feet, when ironically we’re now in the best financial shape ever.

NUFC was the love of my life but she’s going out with someone else now.

Really miffed about that game last night! I would ask any person who renewed season tickets this year, why? Just why? Do you enjoy watching that kind of football? Football is supposed to be entertaining and enjoyable, has it been like that this year or last? The only way to change things is to stay away until he gets the message we wont stand for it. Those who go, tell him its OK to disrespect the fans and the club, and he is making money off your backs ( not mine, wont go till he is gone ) and making the club look bad.

I expect opposition fans were showering Fab the Fairy with money, simply to thank him for his continued support in allowing them to score easy goals.
