What Fans Think Of Benitez, Redknapp, McClaren, Laudrup, Carver As Head Coach

We’ve done a number of specific polls this year on whether Newcastle want to see a particular candidate as the head coach at Newcastle in the summer – and excuse the pun – but the results have been very black and white.

Rafa Benitez – yes we’ll take him 😀

We’ve done these specific polls on Rafa Benitez, Harry Redknapp, Steve McClaren, Michael Laudrup and John Carver and the results are very much one way or the other.

It’s interesting we didn’t do a specific poll on Frank de Boer, but a Chronicle poll had him at 93% positive – and he was the overwhelming favorite from this list of continental coaches.

Who Do You Want As New Newcastle Head Coach?

  • Frank de Boer (58%, 6,784 Votes)
  • Remi Garde (21%, 2,465 Votes)
  • Thomas Tuchel (9%, 1,025 Votes)
  • Temuri Ketsbaia (4%, 477 Votes)

We would gladly take Frank de Boer, Rafa Benitez, Michael Laudrup, Remi Garde or Thomas Tuchel.

And even though he’s not listed we’d also take Jose Mourinho. 😀

Catchy & Rotonda – Good to see the Pardew half time team talk effect – Palace have been dreadful second half! 😉

I get the impression, we’d take anyone who had any incling they knew what they were doing…..as long as it’s not Carver!

Some people seem p….d off because pards has got CP playing better than us.
He had strict restrictions at Newcastle and has inherited a squad willing to work hard. They haven’t got the quality of a lot of clubs but they still out classed us.

i thought it wouldn’t take long for some on here to have a go at pardew just because they lost, he’s done well so far at palace, when he was here here he must have been thinking ah sod this I’m leaving.

Benitez +Ashley just would not work, as much as I’d love to see him in charge. He would want to make big money signings, and wouldn’t take too kindly to his top performers being shipped out mid-season. Unless Ashley is preparing to sell, which I doubt at this moment in time, then somebody like Benitez should keep away. We’re the kind of club who would ruin a manager like his’ reputation!

    Welshie,

Would I correct in rating your passions as follows.

    Swansea…would die for them.
    Alan Pardew…love him to bits
Newcastle …one of a number of your second teams.
Mike Ashley…despises Geordies, so he can’t be that bad.
    Geordies….oh, yeah! Ha Ha Ha!

Low salary, being told to rest players in the Fa cup, no say in transfers, best players sold. Carver is the only mug for the job.

Ian Toon – that is a bit naughty called me the blog bully – a nasty slieght and dig by someone who surely must be the blog fraudster. Trying to browbeat fellow bloggers with the same anti majority message by the use of multiple names.
Your artifice and deception has been well spotted by myself and other posters – now then Mr Blg Fraudster alias Mr Funk/Carl et al be off with you to the ladies wrestling forum. Fraudster!

    Mr Tuff,

I recently received this meal from our lady secretary Agnes Grapple-Clench. She asked me to pass it on you.

    Dear Mr Tuff,

I would be most obliged if you would please refrain from referring members of the NUFC.BLOG to our website.
We are currently in a life or death struggle to avoid our 150-year-old organisation being taken over by Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct.
They want topless mud-knitting, in line with the prejudices of their customer base.
Frankly, our efforts to avoid this fate are being undermined by the defeatist, complacent, cap-doffing, spineless attitudes of the teenage no-dicks you are pushing our way.
    You must desist!

Anyone who is not a clone of Pardew and a nobody that just wants a good job on his CV! Carver is clearly not the man to take us forward!

Anyone that knows how to make the most of our squad and goes for wins instead for settleling for draws against the likes of Palace FFS!!

I think all we have is a longer running version of the Shearer saga.

Ashley ‘gives’ us a Geordie again. JC fails, as he only can given no signings and a willingness to go along with that.

We get another Muppet in the Summer.
