Bad News Good News About Tomorrow’s Game At The Etihad

There is not a lot of confidence about Newcastle being able to get much out of the game at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City tomorrow – according to our fans.

Newcastle United's English midfielder Ja

Jack Colback – on 9 yellow cards

In fact a whopping 82% think we will lose the game and only 10% think we will win the game.

But it’s also interesting to go back to the Capital One Cup tie on October 29th and how fans thought we would do in that game – after losing the previous 11 games against City in all competitions..

More thought we could win it – one in three thought we could win back in October – which we did – by a score of 2-0, with a draw not being a possible outcome as the game would go to extra time and penalties if possible.

And we didn’t need extra time or penalties.

So there’s always hope. 😀

Jack Colback is on 9 yellow cards so it’s important he doesn’t pick up a 10th yellow card tomorrow, otherwise he will be suspended for two games and will miss the important game at home to Aston Villa next Saturday.

We’re already missing far too many players through injury.

The positive thing about the poll for tomorrow is that if we can get anything at all out of the game it will be a welcome and positive surprise.

So the lads should go all out tomorrow – they have absolutely nothing to lose.

Wow we really are struggling for postives. The positive thing about tomorrow is that if my nads somehow swell up to be the size of footballs I might win the the worlds biggest nads competition.

Honestly if Carver just set the team up properly, we could at least make a match of it.

But instead, we’re going to have Cabella lost out wide, Sissoko surrounded in the mdifield, and city will wipe the floor with our central defense. Then obertan or ameobi will give some false hope as late subs.

3 1 to Toon. Cisse to get a hattrick. Carver to get the job permanently.

It’s a beautiful Johannesburg evening and I just can’t get upset about City tomorrow. I expect it will be hard going, but what the hell – go the lads! As I see it, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Good news is we can afford to stay in the chic central Manchester Radisson hotel that Bony is holed up in but we cant compete with Southampton, Swansea or West Ham when it comes to buying players.

Fatman knows how to keep the disaffected onside.

Be fair to Mikey boy and Charnley. Carver’s not a mate of Ashley – he might be a reliable sycophant but never a mate.

Who gives a toss if hes mates anyway. The point being teams like Hull are buying players for 10 million plus and we get left to watch crap.
