Newcastle In For Right Back In Belgian League

There are reports coming out of France that Newcastle are interested in signing 20 year-old French defender Yarouba Cissako of Monaco – who is on loan for the season at S.V. Zulte Waregem in the Belgian Pro League.

Yarouba Cissako – 20 year-old Monaco right back on loan in Belgium

Yarouba has played for the France U16, U17 and U19 teams and is an up-and-coming player, who joined Monaco’s Youth Academy back in 2010 when he was 14, and he has been sent out on loan this season.

There’s usually a good reason Newcastle are interested in a youngster apart from him being good, and sure enough his contract at Monaco runs out in the summer.

At that time he will become a free agent,  although Newcastle would still have to pay his French club compensation, since he’s under 24.

This season he’s played 27 times on loan at S.V. Zulte Waregem with one goal and seven assists.

He stands 5’9″ tall,  right footed and he’s the type of player Newcastle like to sign.

While he will probably be expected to go into the Development squad for next season, if we sign him, young Ayoze Perez has proved you can become a first team player at Newcastle  immediately if you are good enough.

Hopefully we will be bringing in some good player for both the first team and the Development squad in the summer – we’ve certainly have the money available.

What do you think?

Sissoko should go back to playing right midfield its where he played best for us when Cabaye was here hes not got the skills for central midfield

If we had fought for every ball like that against City we might have had a chance of upsetting them we need to play like that against Man Utd as they are not that good

We did look better today 442 keeps it simple the wingers know what to do and it means we are more direct and compact Riviere showed some decent touches we need to give him a little run the same as Sammy some of his skills were fantastic

I’ve just seen Mike Williamson in Sainsburys at Throckley. In his shopping basket were: a ready-cooked chicken (reduced to £1.99), a sachet of El Paso Mexican spices, microwave rice, snack-a-jacks, shape yoghurts, and frozen mango. After a brief struggle with the self-service checkout he was last seen in the lottery queue!

    Welshie,,

Another fine victory for the team you would die for today, keeping them in with an outside chance of European qualification.

Doubly impressive then that your excitement should lead you straight to the Newcastle blog to offer yet more observations on the managerial situation here.

We are truly blessed with the quality and diligence of our casual fans.

Observations about the team from today

    Abeid – terrible game,hopefully a one off
Ameobi – couldn’t stick to the task of being a winger
    Obertan – ditto.
Cisse – not only scored but put himself about well
Raylor – came on and played well

The rest – I’d have to say very average.

Looks as though this season could end just like the last one. The quality of games going distinctly down hill. The manager / first team coach has changed, but precious little else.

Colo best player on the pitch but we need to revert back to 1 upfront to control the midfield better, we bypassed the midfield all to often today.

How fitting that on to a day of protests against muslims in Newcastle that a Muslim scored to help in sending 50k geordies home happy!!

You’re not buying a black and white kit for the little one are you? Now that would be cruel – his little friends’d laugh at him!

what’s that i can smell in the air, jealousy perhaps, i do feel sorry for you, thanks for mentioning wales though, but there’s one thing you did forget to mention and that was the swans result.

With newcastle (that’s right i do support them) winning along with wales and swans it’s been a good day. Not that it’s none of your business.

    Welshie,

I know one of your Swansea legends. Mutual acquaintances I share with your “mate” Jeff.
He played for Sunderland, I vaguely recall. And his proud dad covered the Sunderland games.
I don’t know if the blog is ready for it….I’m very discreet.

John Carver is doing a great job and putting himself in the shop window for the job permanently. The club is cursed but Carver will rise above the cruel fans. I see Palace scored three set plays. We have not scored three set plays in three years. Ha ha ha. Well done Parpoo. What do the fans know except to ridicule everybody and everything. We can only moan because we have not won anything since fire was invented.

Second best until we scored. Got better as the gam went on. I know everyone hammers Williamson but I thought he did well today had a battle with Benteke I gave him MOM – distribution might be poor but nobody comes to help in on the ball so all to often long punts upfield. also thought Riviere did ok needs a goal though.

Nice gesture from Villa fans to unfurl banner in remembrance of John Alder and Liam Sweeney and give a minutes clapping – well done

Well all you can say it was a typical game between two poor teams, we were lucky enough to win.
Best not to get carried away we may not get any more points this season.
We are relegation candidates, it’s just lucky we have enough points.

First of all great to get another three points.
What amazes me most is 50,000 turning up time after time to watch what they know is going to be a load of sh.t.
its just a good job we were playing Villa or we would have been ripped apart.
