Gabby Obertan in action tonight

Here is the goal that was Newcastle’s downfall tonight, with some terrible defending from Mehdi Abeid and Tim Krul – and other than the terrible mistake – the Newcastle goalkeeper had a good game.

Best game of the season supposedly for van gaal so we must’ve been lucky lol

abeid had a shocker all game and shouldve cleared krul could’ve obviously done better but should never have got the ball in the first place

NOT A GREAT DAY TO GO INTO WORK WITH A LOAD OF SMUG MANCS .(and plastic Asian fans who are more annoying )
Jeff @275 interesting theory on how to improve form spat my coffee out reading that.:)
maybe you should do the post match instead of carver ..it would be more entertaining if polarising than the banal cliché from the man who worked with sir bobby.

still blame Abeid for that, just clear it ffs, but lets bet honest first half was dire, cisse’s golden chance has to atleast be on target, the thing that annoys me the most is sammy and obertan, obertan is just rubbish, we needed wingers like arrons tonight.

ultimately we lack the right players, yet sailed through January and signed no one, so the real blame is at mike ashley, the season is over midtable it is, and despite the rumors john carver will get the job in the summer, what has happened to us ?

Alien heed needs putting down. Truly woeful at football.

First half we were shite. Second half we at least tried to close them down and apply pressure at times but lacked the drive to push on once in possession. General lack of cohesion and decisiveness with the ball.

What could Abeid of done? He’d tracked back with goofy, they won the ball and it’s so close to his legs and he’s off balance that if he kicked it anywhere bar krul it wouldn’t of gone far. Krul couldn’t adjust his legs so kicks poor but what was janmaat doing? Stood there watching with his thumb up his arse marking no fcuker when he should of been marking young. Comedy of errors has let us down along with poor finishing when presented with chances.

Overall another carver masterclass on how NOT to be a head coach.

    Seen the cisse/Evans spitting saga.

Clearly Evans spits at cisse as he’s getting up and cisse reacts angrily. What’s unclear for me is – did cisse actually spit back? All the angles I’ve seen it doesn’t show. He just leans in slightly and looks like he’s gonna nut him. He could of spat I don’t know but I can’t see it.

We nullified out CM’S for Riviere and 442.
Jonas gave a better account of himself at LB than Raylor

20% win ratio for Carver. That is Mcleishesque!!!!! Still he is a Geordie, and as we all know that is all that matters with us fans.

Ffs look at the pictures Ffs Evans spat at cisse! sorry I’m watching 5 live and there saying he spat at the floor, and you can’t see cisse spitting full stop!
Evans was directly looking at him as he spat wat else do you want as evidence

Krul should have just picked it up!!
Ref didn’t spot the penalty so wouldn’t have called it as a back pass.

That was bollocks. From both sides. How poor ManU have become. Van Gaal will be gone in summer. We were dross, but we definitely should have had a penalty. Riviere couldn’t finish to save his life. Obertan couldn’t cross a ball if he was alone on the pitch. Shocking lack of competence from both teams.

Rooney deserves some credit for that goal, for his persistence.
Having got round Colo he managed to put both Gouffran and Abeid under pressure. Unbalanced and unable to clear with his right foot, Abeid did the only thing he could and used his left…far too hard. By the time it reached Krul, Rooney was on top of him.

Fcuk it I’m off. The boys home and wants me so bugger off.

Sorry mate bit if you can’t see cisse spit then you need to get your eyes tested mate. Both players spat, Evans spat toward the floor where cisse was….Cisse spat up close and on Evans….difference between the 2 incidents is that cisse wasn’t spitting at y he ground.

Evans though can spit anywhere else on the pitch but chose to do so toward Cisse. Both should be banned

Sissoko was very good as well. Obertan was abysmal. I’ve never seen a worse winger in the Prem I don’t think. Man U were there to be taken. They were very poor indeed. The top clubs will tear them a new one.

Obertan is an awful footballer and should have never started this game. If Carver thinks he can get this job full time then he needs to recognize this fact. 433 today with Sissoko Abeid Ameobi and Perez Cisse Riviere could easily have won this game today. Man U were not very good but we did not have the right personnel in the right positions to take advantage. Carver is simply a Pardew clone, evidenced by the fact that every free kick was aimed at Williamson, a tactic that has never. worked. ever.

    Yes manxpie you need glasses.

Evans will get off because he’ll argue he was spitting on floor. Cisse on the other hand stood up and spat towards Evan’s face and hit his neck.

Disgusting behaviour and deserves the ban.

Evans was pretending he didn’t know what he was saying, and Cisse then motioned to say he saw him do it. I think Cisse was incensed by the fact Evans actually did spit.

Prem League is definitely not the best in the world.
    Neither for entertainment or quality.
    Spain, Germany are better.
Maybe its just a lull and it’ll be good again in a year or 2.

Really is no point playing Obertan, he is terrible. I would much rather see Callum Roberts get a chance out wide than play him again.
Hoping both Cabella & Aarons will be back for the next game to replace Ameobi & Obertan.
