Carver Sky Sports Interview – We Were Abysmal – Video

Here is John Carver’s Sky Sports interview after the game, and once again Newcastle  failed to produce yet again.

jermain defoe at half time

Jermain Defoe – almost in tears at half time

Here is John’s somber interview after the game today.

And after a great second half against Arsenal two weeks ago,  we give the performance like that in the first half today – it was simply a disgrace.

It seems to us that John talks a good game, and he’s brave enough and well-intentioned, but he’s simply not up to the job.

That’s the truth.

Indeed not, sir. It is Easter, the time for Christians to celebrate JC’s resurrection. Or in this case, not.

    Marty,
What can be said anymore, how and why are we being run from season to season, what good can it do, if the press are to be believed we will lose the spine of our team in the summer, mashley got lucky that season we finished fifth and won’t listen to anybody but the people who are paid to tell him what he wants.

I thought the Government were putting warnings on Video Nasties to protect our children,
Well they should extend it to adults,
Carver should have said nothing as there was nothing to say

Ashley understands the economy of the Whorehouse.

He knows the customer with wood will take the last sl/t.
He knows he will pay even if there be stink.

    Stay away! Reclean your life!

Complete boycott until Ashley is gone. Nothing else will work. Carver is a dud. Everyone knew it except Ashley who doesn’t care enough to pay attention. Ashley will keep on doing the same thing to us year after year unless he is forced out.

At least JC told it how it was. No bull shit. Credit for that. Of all the years supporting this club I’ve always taken solace that we were better than the mugs down the road. Not anymore. Thanks Mike. Tosser.

Vukic is going to get Rangers back into the Scottish prem if he keeps on scoring.
Can we have him back before that happens please ?

No doubt about it they deserved the win, we were a Sunday league side on a day off. I’d love a decent explanation as to why Ashley is a good owner or why anyone thinks he should be in charge of this club. This is how bad it is – I’m not even dreading facing some of my mackem acquaintances any more. I have learned to shrug my shoulders and just forget it
    How sad is that?

You could put Mourinho in there and he’d get nothing from that team.
Now he probably wouldn’t put a midfielder at LB,think Carver spent too long with Pardew.
The whole club is a shambles.
Colback,Sissoko,Cabella and Abeid should’ve been the midfeild.
I’d have played Anita at LB.

Huge clearout needed in the summer but Ashley is a coward. He will hide and let the others take the heat. He will spend a bit but not nearly enough. We are a permanently damaged club with Ashley in charge. No hope unless he leaves. I hope people like Shearer speak out against him again.

I get that carver is no mourinho or wenger, perhaps even a dyche or the likes but surely with our biased glasses off surely we can see that except krul, Perez, not a single player is interested. It’s a complete disgrace the whole lot of them. I would be sacked on the spot if I worked with that level of professionalism.

We’ve all pointed out the problems time after time. Useless owner leads to useless management, a thin squad, poor performances, and yet record profits. The scab at the top needs to be removed. If the you go to the home matches you get what you deserve. Absolute shocking, abysmal performances.

jonas played RB for Argentina , raylor could have played LB

    sissoko is not a DMC
    nor is Jonas
    nor is goofy

carver played to many out of position , that was the big problem

They dominated us, which is a farce. How many corners did they have, 7 or 8? I thin we had 2. They crowded us out of the midfield for most of the match. We had nobody to hold the ball up in their half. We don’t have an impact sub right now either. In fact we don’t have much of anything. Thanks Mike you useless piece of crap.

A defoe wild strike of the ball was the difference between 2 shitty sides
We were slightly less shittier than the mackems but jermaine the footy whore got lucky
Poyet signed him in desperation from Canada
    The mackems are doomed

Yehh Carver you can Talk the Talk but you sure can’t Walk the Walk mate!! Forget the first half the whole 70min we were shite and only then did we try and make amends.

The whole performance was embarrassing for all of us and the players don’t seem to give a sh!t. Only Ayoze, Jaanmaat, Sissoko and Raylor seemed to really care and try their best.

Look we were awful today, simply awful.

YET Sunderland were too, they needed a (lucky) wonder striker to even get ahead in the first place. It could have easily went into row Z or towards the corner flag, its one of those were he probably will not do it in his career again.

THAT SAID, we were still awful. Not gumption. No tactics. Hoof ball in the first half.

Krul – Did not do bad, but what was he doing at half time waiting to congratulate Defoe. Idiot, still had no chance for the goal. 5

RTaylor – Played hoof ball, and was our prime hoofer. That is an accomplishment when Williamson is beside you. Could have easily seen red for a 2nd yellow lashing out at VAnaholt. His set pieces were awful, or atleast the majority were ending up in the keepers hands or the crowd. Too slow, and at times looked scared to keep or pass the ball simple. 4

Janmaat – Our best player today. Did little wrong, but clearly not a centre back. Looked quality when filling the right back role. Missed his offensive game today. 7

Williamson – Hoofer, hardly won an aerially ball. Too slow. He is not a bad back up to a back up but to start and be our only fit centre back is a crime. Looks so uncomfortable on the ball it makes you appreciate a declining Colo for what he is. Lost header leading up to goal aswell. 4

Colback – Feel sorry for the kid. Went back to the old employer hoping to show why he left for a bigger team. And was let down by the team and the manager, or head coach. Did very little, but he did show passion. Not his fault being played out of position, and really cannot ask more from him. Occasion may have got to him aswell abit. Centre midfield would have been were I would have put him all day long for a game like this. 5

Gouffran – Why does he play, and why does he play in centre midfield. He was awful today, and was given the hook just after half time. Should not have been on the pitch. 3

Sissoko – Our captain, he played without desire, passion or commitment. He should not touch the captain band again. He was wasted for runs forward, and should have been played to support Perez. I am not saying he is a bad player, but Pardew got the best out of him. Alot of people on here called for him in the centre including myself, but now I know why he doesn’t play in the centre. Was awful today. 3

Jonas – Showed passion, desire and commitment and should have been out captain today. Lacks abit of quality, but he really did put a shift in. Maybes held the ball abit too long at times, but did not hide away like the majority of our players. 6

Sammy – How does he get in our team? Worst player on the pitch today. Did nothing but fail to run at Jones, and did not want to pass the ball even to keep possession. Should let him go when his contract runs out in the summer. Waste of space and wages. 2

Perez – Shows desire but lacked final ball or finishing touch. I struggle to criticise him though as he has been a great talent this year. He lacked the strength to lead the line on his own and was offered little to no support. Could have passed a few times put kept and lost the ball. Should have scored but overall was not the worst player on the pitch. Maybe starting to feel it so late in the season like most imports do. 5

Cabella – Had a couple of moments but most of the time he flatters to deceive. I think it is a case were he is adapting to the PL and a game like today was maybe beyond him. Still arguably our best creative player when he decides to pass. Was not great today though. 4

    We were clueless .
They wanted it more, they’ve got lots if foreigners too,so that’s not the problem .

@Jeff – and we are worse. You know why? We have no sporting aspirations whatsoever. We are a prostituted tool to use as advertising space.

The club is dying because there’s no point in playing for it right now, this club will destroy careers.

I’m not some partisan moron that is more interested in the failures of a rival than the problems at their own club.

Colback played a whole season at left back for Sunderland and was one of the reasons he left the club because he was not being played in his preferred position.

He even played left back against us.

    G2,
We will no doubt suffer our annual defeat at Anfield next week which will put Carver one behind our record breaking manager of six, I hope that after this next humiliation that the fans can come together before the season ends and at least show that we’re not happy even if the fat man doesn’t care. The media aren’t interested in our situation because we aren’t.
