Newcastle Continue To Be Linked With Top Manager

There is news coming out of Italy that Rafael Benitez will be in discussions about his future with Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, although Rafa has a home in Liverpool and there are a number of clubs that will be looking for a new manager – with Newcastle being one of them.

Rafa Benitez -turista-a-Napoli

Rafa Benitez – Napoli manager – wants to return to England?

Rafa signed a two year deal at Napoli two years ago and he has done well in Italy with Napoli now in 6th place, but only 2 points out of 4th place.

Last season they were 3rd top, so there seems no reason why Napoli wouldn’t offer Rafa a new deal, but of course it also depends on what the former Liverpool manager wants to do.

This is what Rafa Benitez has said:

“I’ve read that the President, Aurelio De Laurentiis,  may not offer a renewal, and I’ve read that Benitez has already spoken with the team. This is not true.”

“In a few weeks I’ll meet with the President, and we’ll discuss what’s best for Napoli going forward.”

Newcastle have been strongly linked with Benitez, but we’d be very very surprised if Mike Ashley wants the Spaniard at Newcastle, because he’s anything but a yes man.

It’;s also hard to believe he would want to come to Newcastle although West Ham are another club who may be looking to hire a new manager if they don’t give Sam Allardyce a new contract this summer.

Newcastle fans would probably be over the moon if Rafa was a shock appointment at Newcastle in the summer.

That’s because at the moment fans are completely fed up with Newcastle and how the club is run, and we are  falling in the league like a lead balloon – and taken just 9 points from the last 36 points in the league.

We hope we are at least safe to be in the Premier League next season.

There’s probably an infinitesimal chance of Rafa coming to Newcastle this summer – but we’ve been wrong before.

😀

Rafa Benitez wants to be a head coach for an idiot? This is news to many including Rafa I suspect. 😯

Since when did Rafa have no ambition whatsoever? Doesn’t make sense to me. Only a loser would want to be a head coach.

No chance unless he’s really desperate to get back to England, and there’s no other English clubs interested lol Last resort for him.

It’s important to keep the focus on Ashley until he leaves. AshleyOut.com is a very good idea. Anyone who believes in a bright future for Newcastle United knows Ashley must go. Full boycott until he’s gone.

Ashley has already plumbed the depths of poor management. Kinnear, Wise, Llambias, Carver. What other club would be as foolish as that? What other club has a parasitic owner clamped on for dear life?

Why hasn’t Ashley started paying himself back with some of the club’s profits? Because parasites sink their hooks deep. He will suck the life blood right out of the club for as long as he can. Total boycott.

No more “let’s wait for next season. Next season will be better.” Bollocks. Ashley has no intention to of developing a decent football club. Ashley out.

Far too late for Ashley to pretend to be worried hibbit mate. Ashley has used up his last chance long ago. I don’t see anyone on here arguing that Ashley is a good owner anymore. That should tell us something. Everyone now knows he’s a complete parasite. Worst owner in the Prem bar none. Ashley out.

Rafa may be desperate to return to England, but he ain’t stupid.
Besides he likes to spend money, which immediately rules him out.

As I said hibbit mate it’s too late for Ashley to pretend to be doing something. We’ve seen it time after time over the last 8 years. It means nothing. The plan will not change. No ambition. No net spend. Free advertising. Total bollocks. Ashley out.

We’ll wear it again next season unless we force Ashley out. The man is a conniving guttersnipe. A total parasite. Complete boycott for all remaining home games.

dont you think if there is gunna be a boycott of all home games that we should wait until they are safe and not gunna be going down, i think an empty stadium could backfire as this could hv a massive affect on the players

There is more chance of Alex Ferguson coming out of retirement to manage us than Rafa Benetiz being appointed

Even if we were a beautiful proposition this is not the man. He takes over quality teams, is successful with them then spends a fortune making them worse. At Liverpool he wanted to sell Xabi Alonso and buy Gareth Barry. Top manager !
