John Carver said the players were nervous today, and he’s right that we gave away two poor goals today, the first two – but John say that it’s his job to find a solution and a way to win and he may have to put two strikers on the pitch.
John Carver and Mauricio Pochettino today
Here’s John Carver’s Sky Sports interview after the game when he said he went very positive in the second half, when he could have just saw the game out in the second half.
Not sure exactly what he means by that, because we were 1-0 down at the half.
John is finding it very difficult to get to terms with the difficult job of being head coach at a club like Newcastle.

A lot of fans got up and walked out when the spuds scored their first goal, others swapped seats for the popular side cos the sun was shining on that part of the ground, it was f**n freezing. Crowd inside ground lucky to be 30,000. Don’t know how many were at the boycott, I thought there would be more. I just think the whole club stinks of apathy including me I am am usually angry p**sed off when we get beat, but not that bothered and that’s sad.
The club has lost it’s soul
