John Carver today – his look tells it all

Here is John Carver’s Sky Sports Interview after our seventh defeat in a row – this time against Swansea City – basically he says we weren’t good enough.

A follow up question could be – when are we going to be good enough?

Says the obvious, grins, smiles and talks like he doesn’t have a care in the world.

He may claim to know we’re in trouble but he gives the impression of someone who’s job is untouchable…. Oh wait.

When he smiled after the mention of SDJ I was waiting for him to pat himself on his back, cringe worthy.

We have a new king, long live the king of spin JC…

Still notice Carver is taking none of the blame ! He is getting such an easy ride of the press despite being clueless

During the game he sits down and does not do anything most decent managers are on the touchline the whole game trying to get their team instructions

Wish someone in the press would have the guts to ask Carver:

When we went a goal up we had the chance to put them under proper pressure we sat back and allowed them back into the game ?

Why cant we defend corners ?

Why cant Krul kick a ball properly or come for a cross ?

Why cant Willamson attack a cross or be comfortable in possession?

Why dont we have different set piece ideas?

We look good going forward when we keep the ball on the deck to Perez so why do we hoof it to him when he has no chance of winning it ?

op…I don’t think he’ll be able to take too much. Pardew nutted a player when it was all a bit too much, Carver is just too quick to turn on the fans. Not enough diplmacy to peddle the lies.

Still, summer hols soon, hopefully everyone will forget when John flashes his new and improved squad that is going to take us to that next level, the one where we belong to be, you know, like when he worked with Sir Bobby.

    But you never know…

JC.. great Number 2 coach can’t understand why was trusted with the remainder of campaign. Should have got a head coach or manager (as I like to call them) in. Ashley.. can’t fault his investment in the club however it’s not about money..its’s about pride , excitement, and love for the beautiful Newcastle United badge that is on our replica shirts that we we wear on match days. We need a squad to get us through not a bear minimum to get us thru cos it’s not working!

    True Geordie nails it again.

I’d like to give a big shout out to McLarens left bollock.

Anyone got the number for rouge traders?

Ed . Are you really a fan or what .? Your still blaming the fans for Pards departure . Nowt to do with ash not giving him any money to spend is it ?? Psrds was thick skinned and was able to take anything we threw at him , no way would he leave just because of a few insults .
You should know better ed , give it a rest mate

I honestly believe that Ashley , Charnley , Carr and Carver believed that Carver would have the ability to get the couple of wins that would have kept us safe even with injuries

They probably did not expect him to fail to beat say Stoke and Burnley at home especially when we had taken the lead his lack of tactical nous prevented us seeing those games out and there was a few other games where he bottled it such as Palace away as well

Wins in those games and we would still be in with a shout of top 10

How can you play Anita he’s no full back and too light in midfield… should have played Abeid .. and maybe Armstrong for Rivière. Even give Obertan a runout he’s a lucky omen we usually win when he plays. Like he was in that 13 match unbeaten run a few years ago under Pardew 🙂
