Leicester City Lose To Chelsea

Leicester City lost 3-1 at home to Chelsea tonight, after being 1-0 up at half-time, and that broke their four game winning streak and they remain 4 points behind Newcastle with the same number of games played, 34.

John Terry scores Chelsea’s second tonight in 3-1 win

That also means that even if Newcastle lose to Leicester on Saturday in the early kickoff game, we would still be one point ahead of the Foxes with three games to play.

However the game at Leicester now offers our lads a great chance, because if we can win that game we will be 7 points ahead of Leicester with just 3 games to play, and we would stand a very good chance of being safe this season.

Marc Albrighton gave the Foxes the lead on the stroke of half time – but then Chelsea scored three unanswered goals in the second half though Didier Drogba, John Terry and Ramires to win the game 3-1 in front of the watching John Carver and Steve Stone.

Chelsea are now almost there and need just one win in the last four games to give Chelsea and Jose Mourinho the title once again.

It didn’t take Jose very long to get on his winning ways again, having already won the Capital One Cup earlier this year.

And to think they didn’t win anything last season – a very bad season for the Blues no doubt.

It’s a great opportunity for Newcastle to break our losing streak on Saturday and even reach safety.

At the very least we need a draw.

Don’t no about a win Edward but fancy us to nick a draw. Need to stop the rot that’s for sure.

Leicester now have no option but to have a go against us – can Carver put out a team to exploit space behind them to secure a lead and then increase it rather than ending up defending the Alamo.
Leading 2 up should knock the crap out of them.
    No pressure then John.
I’m happy to sign a truce in the meantime to support the team and our fans but please sort it JC.

Ashley’s the fruitcake. The past eight years have been positively bi polar. Just charge for the ground advertising, redirect the shirt sales back into the club, put more of the clubs assets out on the pitch and in doing so protect your investment while raising your public profile by being seen to be doing the right thing. Why all this carry on?

Me and my sisters still dond get the offside rules, we feel that you are the one to learn us and I think you skipped and diss us there with your reply .We are genuine and really are perplexed and at wits end trying to work it all out , there are so many rules We like the Soccer , Newcastle are having a hard time we see. Its a shame , my youngest sister Tamytrice was drinking Borage tea for she was feeling so down after the Hot spurs whooped Newcastles soccer club’s Ass .

    Blackly and Brownly

Can you now tell us the offside plays ? we are confused how the soccer ball can go into the net over the line between the two posts and then the umpire says its not a score ? what is going on pleeeeeease

I know you explained to Jfa when he asked you if it was possible that 2 people were trapped in the one body.

Can you please explain it again 😉

What you’ve just suggested is what most wanted from the start.

Not to have the piss taken out of them because that’s what he’s done.

Not too much to ask is it.

    Obviously it was.

Ian Toon – I suspect you’ve been on the vino callapso tonight and following the greatest night of comedy gold on here (you sending posts to yourself) you have erred again and not been so careful due to your intoxication.
Pushy Pardew has just used a phrase which registered quickly “lacks emotional intelligence”.

I do believe that the only other person to have used the phrase “lacks emotional intelligence” or “lacking emotional inteligence” EVER on this blog (on several occasions) is no other than……………………………………………………the Master Multiple ——–Ian Toon.
So easy to catch out. What an amateur.

    Legendary.

Sadly we can’t get enough to stay away to make the space for something so big and symbolic. They’d be arguing over who’s idea it was, what colour, what size, who made the first letter, who’s sat at the end. The match would be finished before the first fcuking letter had been done 😉

So the offside rule is when the player goes somewhere on the field, think of a sort of red zone, and the ball comes to him and the umpire doesn’t like it because it can be unfair. You will have seen the flag man on the side of the pitch and he is the main one to test the unfairness and make a ruling. You must not think that the offside rule has anything to do with the ball coming off the side of a player or off the side of a post because this isca common mistake among our american cousins who we love very much over here. I hope that explains it to your and your sisters satisfaction. Please let me know if I can help further. Have a good day now and God bless America.

AC, I view our situation as a multi faceted and complex one, as situations so often are, and try to consider it from more than one perspective, if that helps. Some of it might even be on the money.

Gotcha. Thinking out loud so to speak.

Still, looking objectively doesn’t work in this instance. You summed it up nicely before and there really is nothing else to it. That was it. In a nutshell.

There can be no arguing or differing viewpoints.
