What the heck is going on at Newcastle with all the injuries our players keep picking up, and with just one game to go in Papiss Cisse’s seven game ban for spitting at Jonny Evans, John Carver has today revealed that Papiss is not ready to train with the team and is not 100%.
And it wouldn’t surprise us if he may have played his last game for Newcastle.
Papiss Cisse – may not play again this season!
Here is the very surprising and rather depressing news Carver gave out today:
“Papiss Cisse is working with the medical team and he is not 100%, he hasn’t joined in with us yet with any football and so we will just have to wait and see.”
“This is another chance for Riviere and he did very well last week, especially the first half, he ran out of steam as hadn’t had too much football.”
We really don’t know how and why our players are always injured and we were supposing Papiss Cisse had his feet up these last couple of months – what on earth goes on in training at Newcastle these days.
The season ends three weeks on Sunday so there’s not a lot of time if Papiss is indeed injured.
This is not good news for Newcastle’s survival prospects this season, and we should be getting more details from John Carver on what exactly is wrong with Papiss.
The Newcastle club in the summer need to shake things up from the top to the bottom, because injuries have been a bane to the side throughout the season – and why is that always the case?
And finally Newcastle are still currently top of the Premier League injury table with eight players out – but they don’t list Cisse as one of the players injured.
Comments welcome.

Comment #3This club is a joke – what is Carver doing on the training ground, maybe if we get a decent coach he’ll try and get them to try and play pass and move football instead of just lumping it and hacking each other down

Comment #4I read when he got the 7 game ban that he was going to have surgery to have the screws removed from his knee because of the trouble it was giving him. Can’t remember where I read it and it might have just been speculation but would explain why he isn’t fit.

Comment #6I wouldn’t play Cabella, I think he slows down our play and holds onto the ball for far to long, rather than releasing the ball he’ll do a daft step over a few twists and turns but no progress. I’d keep the french heskey upfront as he can hold the ball up, Perez out wider
Krul
Janmaat, Willo, Colo, Anita
Abeid, Colback
Sissoko, De Jong, Perez
Riviere
Dummett has only just returned so I wouldn’t risk him

Markass makes an appearance on the blog for the first time in months and you call him a knob gobbler.
I’m extremely disappointed. The correct term is tree gobbler.
Sort it out.
Oh hello Markaccus….
Very long time no type. How’s it going? All good I hope.

That’s probably the strongest side we could put out ATM, I don’t expect that to be the starting 11 come sat though.
At best it would be that 11 excluding SDJ but I can’t really seeing JC even picking those 10 + another other than SDJ.
At least one of Gouffran Raylor Guiterez will start IMO

If he was as keen to trawl through his own posts as much as he does other posters he may have spotted the holes in them by now.

I agree with the players in your squad but in a different formation, Riviere and Perez looked better as a pair and with de Jong behind them could well be played in better.

Well, on the Asleyout lot, i think they are at least trying something. Even if all it does is bring it into the national view. I know most of the country knows we are not happy, but i dont think they know the extent. I know a few who boycotted, and a few who didnt. They both had valid reasons for thier choices imo.
I just think “AshleyOut” should have been the main focus from day one, even before “SackPardew”

I note you have not been able to support your comments and you have been reduced to abuse.
You criticise me for stating opinion as fact. Here is a quote from your like minded buddy, Ciaran.
“I’ve criticised him for not doing due diligence because he created a situation wherein he wanted to flip the club for a quick profit but because he was lumbered with debt that he was unaware he was liable to pay immediately, he couldn’t do so.”
I’ve asked Ciaran to support his statement that Ashley wanted to flip the club for a quick profit and to let us know Ashley’s strategy for doing this.
Do you criticise Ciaran for making such a bold statement as fact without any evidence? No. You give fellow gang member Ciaran high fives and group hugs.
It’s about time you brought some evidence to back up your own comments, fella.
The same could be said about accusations of doppelgangers. You couldn’t make it up.

Comment #28Agreed on the start up point but it got rid of his shield, well brought his diabolical record into focus which I think tipped the scales slightly.
Now the spotlights been switched to the main problem the media as a whole no longer see us as deluded, expecting champions league qualification every season, expecting marquee signings and delusions of grandeur.
Just a team that can compete to be the best it can be without being derailed ect ect so in that respect the objective has been a massive success imo.

Yeah i see what you mean. In a way, the fact that my and many others fear was realised when we were left with even worse in charge, highlighted once and for all the main problem. You still get fans of other clubs saying “horrible fans getting what we deserve” but for the most part i think they realise its just as you described it.

There’s no sweeter sound (or sight) than that of one’s own name, so thanks for that Blackley.
Do you want to start charging me some rent? Given how I’m clearly occupying a very large part of your head it could be very profitable for you.
The recklessness is showing. Cracks in the visage are appearing, previous forgotten and silent allies have mysteriously crawled out of the woodwork – last night Pushy, today it’s Ian.

Comment #40Ah yes, Ciaran. You mention last night. Do you recall this comedy outburst?
“Ian/Pushy/Carl/Blackley whoever the hell you are – it’s pathetic. It already was pathetic. It’s now even more pathetic.”
You guys are pathetic. You’re scaring me now. Just go. You’re messing with my head. I’ve called the police, so there. They’ll get your fingerprints and then we’ll see I’m not paranoid. It’s pathetic you guys. I mean guy. One person that is. Pathetic. Truly pathetic. You think I haven’t called the police. So what is it? Do you want rent cause I’m living in your head? Even more pathetic!
