Newcastle Reported After Experienced German Striker

The summer must be approaching quickly because Newcastle are now being linked with a host of players,  and surprisingly we are being linked today with Arsenal’s German striker Lukas Podolski, who is a bit past his best and turns 30 in June.

The Metro is reporting that both Newcastle and Sunderland are interested in the striker, who cannot get his game at the Gunners and will move on this summer, but he is likely to join a club playing in the Champions League every season.

Lukas is currently on loan at Inter-Milan, but he’s scored only one goal there this year, and that move is unlikely to be made permanent in the summer.

It’s certain that the German World Cup winner will leave the Gunners in the summer, but there will still be some top clubs interested in signing the striker, who has scored goals throughout his illustrious career.

The German has scored 31 goals in 82 appearances for Arsenal since joining them from Cologne four years ago,  and while at Cologne he scored 35 goals in 96 appearances.

Lukas had a great International career and has played 123 times for Germany with a phenomenal 46 goals.

Podolski has just one year left on his contract at Arsenal, but we don’t think Newcastle are interested in the player, because his value will not increase if Newcastle sign him.

The Newcastle owner likes to sign younger players 27 years old or younger, so he can then sell them at a significant profit in one or two years – and Polish-born Lukas Podolski does not fit that profile.

There’s no chance that Newcastle will be interested in this player this summer.

Ed, can’t you post these topics as you write them? At least give us a few minutes in between.

We have been linked with Podolski on other news outlets,Ed isn’t plucking the stories out of his ass. And”Likely to join a Champion’s league club” is Ed’s opinion.Don’t have a go at Ed if you can’t understand the articles.

I am pretty certain he might use an automated scheduler like Hootsuite do update his early morning posts while he’s still sleeping They look to be set at 10 to 15 minutes intervals, and his morning posts are rarely breaking news.

GeordieViking…From previous thread…With all due respect, you’ve singled out 3 posters who are part of a much bigger issue on the blog.

It is completely off the mark, in my opinion. If you dislike the tit for tat, that is fine, but you have only listed people from one side of it.

Also, you seem to hint they could be the same person. They are indeed not. I have been in tocuh with all of them off of the blog and am 100% certain. Mind, that AC is a bit of a tw@ 😯

    geordieviking – previous post.
A bit selective in your criticism of some posters and throwing me in as their enforcer, enforcing what I may ask.
I note you fail to single out, abusive posters, insulting posters, argumentative posters, homopbobic posters, those with vile utterings from the gutter.

Past his best haha we’ve got a 21 year old kid up front on his own. I’d take a few more past it if they’re this level.

Not many in the footballing world giving us a chance tomorrow.

I guess they like a lot of us, are struggling to see where the change is going to come from.

It’s not fun when you’re only real hope is that things surely can’t continue as they are….surely….If only it were as simple as saying, things can only get better.

We are linked with all these players but people forget we will probably be in the championship next season and with Carver as full time coach we could be in league one the season after.

goto laugh at this mornings headlines

experienced striker, world class playmaker, these are not words and phrases associated with the once so mighty toon

the only element of truth is carver claiming he is in pole position

I agree that the issue is much wider than the posters I mentioned, but those 4 give out a hell of a lot of flak and rarely get brought up forcommitting the same sins as the ones they accuse.
Just thought it was time to even the balance a bit.
Would be best if all parties stuck to football or humour and gave up the snide comments.

    Geordieviking

When I post I do not intend to be obtrusive or use language that is inappropriate and upset people but sometimes it just slips out in general rants about the slug or his puppets, even more so when the poster in question is a complete and utter t**t (I’m sure you know who I mean)

Only this past week I’ve avoided confrontation with the t**t and will continue to do so because it’s a t**t who’s sole intention since its been back on the blog is to antagonise others, tell others it’s better than them, they are not real fans so before commenting on something you clearly missed (another one who missed something) might I suggest getting your facts right and leave pointing the finger.

Oh and the irony of grammatical errors.

    You couldn’t make it up.

You yourself have made repeated mistakes when calling me out for it but I understand. It’s okay. Some times its just the device and I’m sure you don’t proof read everyone of your posts before submitting. I didn’t proof read this. Is that ok?

    Cheers anyway

    Ibiza

    Your a massive c**t 😀

    AC…*You’re* Thanks 😉

GeordieViking…You obviously can call it as you see it, I disgaree they’re the worst for it and that balance isn’t already provided by those who you have not mentioned.

I do wish though, that everyone could find a better way to communicate, but this is a blog, so that’s probably an unrealistic expectation.

There is only so much someone can ignore.

You are correct we were indeed” linked “with him
Pardew apparently wanted him on loan when has was dropped .
Again linked being the common denominator .
This has got bishop written all over it .
Anything to deflect attention from the plight we are in .
If there was anything in this whatsoever then is this the mega signing/ target that Mr carver claims he was privy too 5 weeks ago .
Get back to me when he is holding up a shirt in the tunnel

I have no gripe with your opinion on the article,i don’t like it when people claim Ed is sensationalizing articles so he can get more ad money,to call him shameless is out of order.
