Things Get Worse As Sunderland, Aston Villa Both Win

Today three clubs beneath Newcastle in the league table won their games and gained 3 points on Newcastle, and of course Leicester won be demolishing us 3-0, to come within one point of Newcastle and lo and behold Sunderland beat Southampton 2-1 and Aston Villa beat Everton 3-2 and they go above Newcastle on goal difference.

We are now just two points above third bottom Sunderland, but the Black Cats have a better goal difference and a game in hand.  In fact all the teams below us except Burnley have a better goal difference and that’s worrying.

Cardiff City v Newcastle United - Premier League

Mike Ashley – owner of Newcastle

Hull City also have a game in hand and they are at home to Arsenal on Monday night, and if they win that game they will both go above Newcastle.

So if Newcastle don’t pick up another point this season, there’s a good chance we will finish 3rd bottom – as we did six years ago – and be relegated.

PosTeamGamesGDPoints
Crystal Palace38-1242

17Sunderland38-1439
18Newcastle38-2137
19 Norwich38-2834
20Aston Villa38-4917

It’s not looking good for Newcastle, and we started today 5 points  above the drop zone and we thought 35 points was not going to be enough, but it also looks like Burnley and QPR are going down and we play QPR in two weeks.

Wonder if we can beat QPR?

Get rid of colocinni and the defence immediately improves
That gives the attack a chance to win games or at least get us a a few draws

If carver had any sense (which he doesnt) he’d play the following back four next time
    …………………Satka…Dummett…
    ..Raylor………………………………………..Anita
    …………………….Abeid,,,,Colback
    ……Cabella…………….Sisoko…………..Ameobi
    …………………………..Perez

    Unfortunately Carver has no sense.
We will be relegated this season unless colocinni gets injured or suspended

The players know there’s nothing to play for at this club. They hope they’ve showcased enough to get another move to a premier club, the others just want to go back home abroad or just know they’re being binned anyway. Carver knows it as well but he’s desperate as owt to keep a job he’ll never get again. it’s JC and the No Sunshine Band lol.

It’s another Blackpool on a much bigger scale.
Carver sets a target of 4 points & we go down on goal difference . Just can’t see this shower getting another point. The “big’ names Sissoko,Tiote,Janmaat & Cisse just want to move on and couldn’t care less about the badge. Give the kids a go next week.

    Rotonda,

I don’t have to list them, they are visually no where near prem standard. They never have been.

Forget tactics and teccy players they havnt got it in them, never have done.

These are pro’s 90% of the coaching is done and know how to adapt to tactics, they arnt good enuf because we have gambled on poor out of contract, bad behaviered amd wrongings basically.

    You reep what you sow.

Blamimg a coach ehhhh, nar. Sorry

It’s Mike Ashley why we are HERE.

I don’t know why carver is taking all the heat for today.

He isn’t capable of managing this club at all and he doesn’t carry himself with professionalism but it was clear in his interview if you see the video that he is hurting and cares an lot

Fair enough caring and loving the club does not mean you should be in charge and I am not supporting jc in any way before someone jumps down my throat but the players let us down massively today and maybe it’s time they got called out publicly.

Even Trappatoni once did it famously at Bayern.

Screw this “everything should stay behind closed doors” unwritten rule. Sometimes players don’t deserve protection when they give the account of themselves they did today.

There are a handful of players in this team that are worthy of the shirt

    Colback
    De Jong
    Janmaat (despite today’s red)
    Perez
Jonas at an extreme push for his effort though not good enough to start

Every other member of that squad can bugger off for all I care.

Riviere is a donkey. Shola mark 2
Cabella is all flash and no substance.
Taylor is sadly too old and out of fight.
Willo has nothing between the ears.
Colo only decides to put the effort in once we are down and out though I do still rate him as a defender I think he has grown tired of this regime and CBa.
Moussa can’t control a ball, runs into players and hides when time gets tough.
Gouffran has given up. He doesn’t even work hard anymore.

I’d prefer the likes of obertan, sammy, anita on the pitch over those I have called out. They may not be the best players but they put some kind of effort in.

Come summer whatever league we are in we need to gut this club and rebuild. If we are still in the premier league we should be treating it as though we have just been promoted.

Bring through near enough a full new 1st team all at once all of the same page all wanting to fight.

Anyways I think you might be off whack rhyming on about coloccini if your so smart you might have noticed there’s a whole team of utter s***e on the pitch at the same time.

This is worse than our relegation season.

That squad was full of questionable characters but they at least tried a bit to stay up.

Today I saw a team that had given up…..and jack Colback and Perez.

Lose next week and I think we’re going down.

The mackems will beat Leicester in a fortnight, and Hull will beat Burnley next week.

Also West Broms centre halfs are both about 6ft 5 and we can’t defend set pieces 🙁

All you Far East & East European billionaires out there : Club crying out for PROPER cash injection.
This team is forfar worse than the side that went down last time & certainly won’t bounce straight back unless we get radical changes in ownership, managership & playing personnel

The damage is well and truly done now. The squad is destroyed. No amount of lying will get Ashley out of this. Even if we stay up there is no way Ashley can repair the damage done to the supporters and the club. He won’t spend enough to even begin the process of rebuilding the side and he wants a head coach who will be a flunky and a blame taker for him. Your time is up Ashley, even if you don’t know it yet.

Interesting to listen to what Carver had to say about Williamson, takes a lot to come out and speak openly like that – but it’s laughable that the same man sings the praises of the one and only person responsible for killing off this club.

We are rotten to the core, from the owner to the coaches down all the way to the players

At least Williamson won’t figure – the 6foot 4 weakling. Got to play Dummett( if fit) in the new lad from Forrest in place of Williamson & Janmaat. Midfield has to have some tacklers : Colbaek, Abeid Raylor,.Must play Sammy alongside Perez. & whilst Sissoko wants away he is a must. I suppose the rest are Frenchmen & we’ve never been able to trust the French or Italians.
3 points is a must but I can’t honestly see it. Then we have have Joey, Nolan, Carroll & Big Sam to come and put the final nails in the coffin!!!
