Newcastle’s Form On The Road Very Worrying

Newcastle have a more than decent chance of getting our first win in nine games, since we hammered Aston Villa 1-0 on February 28th at home – but we’ve found road games very difficult this year,  and we have lost our last five away games with a cumulative score of 14-0 – hence one reason our goal difference has gone from -6 to -24 this year under John Carver- and why the other teams fighting relegation with us all have a better goal difference – which is always worth an extra point..

Newcastle manager John Carver

John Carver – Newcastle coach
Can Newcastle win on Saturday?

Of all the clubs in the Premier League only relegated QPR and Burnley have an inferior goal difference to Newcastle United, such has been our almost total collapse this year since Alan Pardew left.

But for the first time in a long time our readers think we will win this game – and about twice as many think we can win than think we will lose.

How Will Newcastle Fare At QPR?

View Results
Loading ... Loading ...

A defeat at QPR would be a total disaster and could help us get relegated,  so our players must come through on Saturday – there can be no more excuses.

And it would be good if we are safe on Saturday night  – and it’s not totally dependent on the final day of the season in our game at home to West Ham.

But after the way this season has gone – it will be left to the last game to decide whether we are relegated – and that will be similar to six years ago when we lost 1-0 at Villa and took the drop.

🙁

We really hope we can win this game against an already relegated side – even though it is away from home – and the players have a chance to give back to the fans for a change.

It’s a shit or bust game, attack from the first minute is the only way forward

Hoping to keep it tight and nick a win is asking for trouble. We should pressure them and go all out for the win.

Nothing else will do, if we want to stay in the EPL the only way to guarantee it is to win!

Survival in the premier league is the closest thing we’ll ever get to winning something.
    Well done Mike.

We will need Hull to keep losing.

Do not get carried away, our away form is pathetic

We’re a laughing stock on every football program you care to watch. The head coach with 2 wins who thinks he’s the best in the league. The owner who can’t show up to home games for fear of what might happen to him. The managing director who knows nothing about football. The squad of has beens and injury prone and want aways. Ashley out.

If we lose the QPR match it will be a true testimony to the disaster the club has become under Ashley. Anyone who goes to the final home game is saying he or she wants more of the same next season please. Ashley out.

Sad stuff. I don’t think anything more needs to be said about Ashley. If you go to games you support the regime, simple as that. If you support the regime you’ll get more of the same next season.

To get maximum TV viewership of games at SJP, MA wants NUFC to lose at home. To stay in the prem, the points must come on the road. I don’t know why that took so long to figure ourt.

I don’t know any way of re-building a squad this poor when the management group is completely incompetent. It would take a huge effort from a brilliant football man now and we don’t have any of those at hand. Tinkering at the edges ain’t going to get it done Ashley. Sell the club this summer. Then somebody with a clue can come in and we will be able to hope for something better.

Come on guys this is a crunch game, a must win game, let try to find something positive.

    Here we go:

I am positive that JC is the worst coach in the history of football.

I am positive that this is the worst Newcastle team ever to take the field.

I am positive that should we stay up nothing will change.

I am positive that if we go down the only changes will be the teams we play.

I am positive Ashley has a lot more fleecing to do at the club before he even considers selling up.

I am positive that us fans will be in the mire for the foreseeable future.

There now lots of positives. 😀

    …………Oh wait!

I mean who the hell do we have at the club that can do the deal ? Pardew at least was a good liar who could con players to come here to play his version of pass and move football Carver has got no chat !!

Just been reading Steve Harmison’s comments. In truth Carver can’t motivate the players or employ the right tactics, I would say he’s hugely at fault, geordie or not.

Bet Harmison was a hoof merchant in his day. Saylor along with Willo should be one of the first out and Harmison should stick to cricket.

Transfer Mitrovic afgerond volgens Dragan Djuric

“I mean who the hell do we have at the club that can do the deal ?”

I would have thought that there are people employed at the club to deal with this side of things, 2 or 3 names get banded about on here as if they do everything but I would have thought NUFC is quite a big organisation with various depts. and quite a lot of specialist staff who do legal stuff, deal with agents and manage transfers. I could be wrong because I don’t know.

This just highlights the amount of work that needs to be done, this summer, to bring what is left of a crap squad up to anything like a competative Premier League Squad. I just don’t see it happening, Ashley simply will not countenance the level of expenditure needed!!!
