Surprising Poll Results For Newcastle’s Game At QPR

For the last nine games, starting with the home game with Manchester United on 4th March, most fans thought we would lose each of the previous nine games, and they were right on eight of them – although last week we broke the losing streak with a good 1-1 draw at home to West Brom – even though fans thought we would lose that game too.

John Carver – first win since February 28th on Saturday?

And the last time fans thought we would win a game in our pre-match poll was the game at home to Aston Villa, and we won that one 1-0 – our last win.

So it could be a very good omen that more than two to one fans think we will win the game at QPR on Saturday rather than lose it.

The fans have been uncannily accurate in their prediction of the results in our games this year – and a win is what we need at QPR.

Here’s hoping.

What’s surprising Ed the blog is just voting at random it would be a ” don’t really know with this team” or as you put it Ed a ” draw” if it wasn’t for the hopeless optimism that we surely are just marginally better than qpr. No surprises there, just like there won’t be any surprises whatever actually happens by teatime Saturday.

The only problem I have with these reported deals is that we don’t seem to be looking at players with any experience. With all the talk of Gutierrez, tiote Collocini Ryan Taylor all moving on, we need to be looking at players with experience. You need to have a mix of youth and experience. As the old saying goes, you don’t win anything with kids!!!! Did I just say win there????

With a proper manager and system place we should be going to places like QPR at this time of the season and giving them a right pummelling with high pressing and pace

Under Pardew and now Carver there has always been a fear of getting beat so we always give teams far too much respect

I think its solely that they are relegated and our fans have raised expectations after a draw at home to West Brom QPR’s home record is better than our away record if QPR had the same away record as us the would be level on points with a better goal difference that to me says QPR’s away form has cost them, so a few tears on Saturday night could be in store, the only way we will stay up is if Hull loose the last two games if the win one or draw them both we could be down.
