Newcastle Not Helping Themselves – Deserve To Go Down

Newcastle have been an  absolutely disaster after the win we had against Aston Villa on February 28th,  and we’ve lost nine and had one draw in our last 10 games – and we’ve lost to Sunderland, Leicester and now QPR – all teams below us in the league – and we are doing nothing at all to help ourselves – and because of that we even deserve to go down.

Other sides in relegation trouble are fighting like their lives depended on it – not at Newcastle – and Leicester City are now safe after drawing at Sunderland and picking up an amazing 19 points from the last 24 played for, and gaining 17 points on Newcastle in that time-frame.

🙁

john carver at QPR

John Carver at QPR today

Hull City put in a fighting performance at Tottenham today but lost 2-0, and now to stay up Steve Bruce’s side have to beat Manchester United next Sunday at home, and that’s not beyond them with the cord right behind them at the KC Stadium.

What Newcastle should be doing is going all out to win the game and at least finish the season on a high after the lows of the last three months.

And we are hoping the AshleyOut crew will let up in this game and that St. James’ Park will be packed full and cheer on the lads to victory,  which will ensure we stay in the Premier League after what has been another horrendous season.

We cannot see Newcastle beating West Ham – but we want to see 100% effort in both halves.

We have had too many games when we’ve been reasonable in one half and disastrous in the other half.

This is like a living nightmare – especially when you have to write about this stuff (I could call it other things).

Here is John’s overall record since Alan Pardew left the club – it’s not good.

I really can’t see Hull beating Man U, but if they do they deserve to stay up. Our useless lot couldn’t beat a relegated QPR side, so if Hull can do it, fair play. I’m probably in a minority hear but I was hoping next season would see all 3 North East clubs in the PL, great for the area despite me not being a huge fan of the Smog Monsters!

true their is some people bashing carver but that is still not half as bad as you got when pardew was about, catch in norway was himself the worst pardew basher of them all, even he has now turned his attention towards ashley, the one thing that has stopped in all this is the expectation of us getting a decent manager, i think almost everyone now insists we’ll consistantly get crap managers during ashley era and well anyone who doesn’t might as well be called an ashley fan.

Abeid should be starting instead of Colback. That’s why we’ll get relegated. Carver is picking the wrong players.

“We cannot see Newcastle beating West Ham – but we want to see 100% effort in both halves.”

Thats the thing, its always been up to other clubs not performing. I always said it would take 4 poor sides to become good to bring us down.

May as well not watch newcastle next week. They wont win, and Hull are the only ones with a chance to change things. You lot agree?

We have had so many chances to get those three more points so in the end they will only have themselves to blame

Ash is a laughing stock now and it won’t be long when the link to SD will be seen as negative advertising

He is out of his depth and even if we survive it will take years to lose the tag

So, plans to boycott next week won’t fly, so it must be a pitch invasion and protest at the final whistle, win, lose or draw, relegated or not. People need to get making banners aimed at Ashley, he’s damaging our club so we must try to damage his beloved business with well thought out banners criticising his practices both those involving NUFC and his tat shop. If things don’t come to a head of sorts next week, then we’ve surrendered.

Next season is another matter, I hope to see greatly diminished attendances no matter which league we’re in. Hope is the last thing to die!

Suggest we all go on strike next week , hold hands around SJP hours before the kick off next week and refuse Carver entry because that would be crossing the picket line.
That would clearly attract publicity and send a message to the UN to come and rescue us .
The players then might get the message.
We could get Red Cross Parcels (Gregg’s pasties no doubt ) and sing ” we shall overcome”
Which is how I feel at the moment.

    @Roblee7
I would like to see all 3 NE teams in the PL too. Unfortunately it will see us relegated as we will give 6 points to both the mackems and the smoggies!

Someone asked me last night what I thought of Mr Ashley. I said he reminded me of those old VW adverts where the commentator intoned things like “this the man who pt it all on the black, and it came up red” etc spelling out what a loser he was.

This has been Mr Ashley, gambling that HIS poor management appointments, HIS decisions to sacrfice a settled squad for a quick profit, HIS decision to do things on the cheap, HIS decision not to communicate with the fans etc.

We know who will be to blame if things go pear shaped next week.

What is blindingly obvious is that two points at any time since Carver took over would have avoided this shambles.
Even worse today the team were only 45 minutes from achieving that and Carver couldn’t even see that or how to ensure that it happened.
Put Jimmie Nail in charge – at least he might scare them into trying !

another way to look at manager bashing is it’s part of the english tradition, this is ENGLAND, our national team has become rubbish due to such poor club dynamics but england fans and media alike still insist a quality manager would win englands 2nd world cup!

HBA was twice the player IMO and that says it all. its almost like Cabella doesn’t believe his own hype the way he plays

The ‘Sack Pardew Crew” and now the “Ashley Out Crew”. Jeez, Ed, when you going to give that a rest?
10 million can fill St James and it wont make the blindest bit of difference next week.
The cause of the issues are Ashley and his despicable ownership which has led to one bad choice after another, after another.

The starting line up said it all? Abeid should have started instead of Taylor, simple. Cabella just flatters to deceive and poor old Sammy should pack up and follow brother Shola. As for Colo and Dummett, well they simply aren’t good enough. Rivierre isn’t a bad player but his confidence is totally shot.
    Team next week?
    Kruhl
Jaanmaat. Colo (Who else). Dummett (Who else.). Gutierrez
    Anita. Abeid. Colback
    Sissoko. Cisse. Perez

Of course manager bashing is part of football but not on that scale when you know all the facts and figures especially with Ashley and this club

6 months of Ashley bashing would achieve alot more than we’ve got now do you not agree?

    Blackley, you predicted this.

Yes, some fans haven’t been around as long as old Blackley or watched the home games all season.

Blackley, you said that the players lacked bottle to go in where it hurts. You said they were softies. You said we have no determined goalscorer who’s prepared to get hurt.

What do you want old Blackley to say? Can Hull get three points next week? Blackley’s never sat and watched Hull all season. He cannot truly comment. All he can say is that he predicted we would get beat off a relegated team. We look every bit relegation fodder. Even Blackley’s glass eye can see that.

A riot on the pitch?? Are you having a laugh. The vast majority will simply shrug their shoulders and wander off home. They will then renew their season tickets and turn up next year.

You need a spine to riot on the pitch mate.
