Newcastle Fans Need To Support The Team

We cannot be the only ones who think that it’s very dangerous there are going to be protests being planned for the last game against West Ham at home on Sunday – and the AshleyOut people – who are still anonymous by the way – have organized plans after the game to have a sit-in protest.

john carver at qpr

John Carver and his players need 100% support

If they think that because it’s going to be after the game,  it will have no impact on the players during the game, then think again – that’s simplistic thinking.

And the Sack Pardew crew were very successful in forcing Alan Pardew out of the club – and look at the mess we are now in with Pardew gone.

It’s simply irresponsible for groups to organize protests, when we need to support the lads 100% in what is our most important game for six years.

Just think what  the players will be thinking if they don’t win and Hull wins on Sunday – and they will be thinking about that during the game and in training this week – they are only human.

Protests against Mike Ashley should be kept until after the game on Sunday, and the only thing the fans should be doing on Sunday is supporting the team – which they are very good at – the best in the business.

That’s a big positive for Newcastel on Sunday.

Did any of you have that “friend” when you were a kid?,the kid that stopped playing football and took his ball home if his team was getting beat?.Ciaran is a “grown up” version of that child.

Ed pardew left to go to a team with a better squad, where he is a legend, to a contract double what he was on, where he’d have much more control on club affairs and be able to move back to hos family home in Surrey where his wife and kids live. Pardew wasn’t forced out by anyone especially not fans! If all of the above wasn’t what contributed to him going it was most likely finding out they weren’t bringing anyone in in jan!
Sick of people being nostalgic about Pardews time! He was a woeful manager and the football was shocking. Just because Carver shouldn’t have been anywhere near this job doesnt make pardew a better msnager than he was!
Sack Pardew was given too much credit and geordies are decent ppl! Pards has said he never got abuse outside the ground and everyone supported him that he met out and about! This is backed up by the fact he never moved out of city centre and didn’t stop going out an about

Run that by me again ed.

A sit-in protest at the end of the match is going to affect the players performance while the games on? Really.

Sorry can you please explain how that works.

The match has finished. They’ve had the support throughout the game so at the end of the game the fans decide to protest for visual effect.

Yes I can see your logic now ed.

FFS! WTF are you on about. Read it back to yourself, let it sink in then say it again.

    Oh my.

This city sees Ashley for the parasite he is.
The people of this city will support the club no matter what division it is in, as it always has.
This city is a family. Have you forgotten?
It is a family he has put to war with itself.
We want it back. We want our Independence Day.
    He has to go.

I couldn’t give a flying f@ck if everyone behind the AO campaign all went out yesterday and paid £52 for the new kit while they were renewing their season tickets and i’ll tell you why,i f@cking hate jabba with a passion and have done since about 2011,when AO out organized Boycott/Protest Spurs it gave me the opportunity to do something about that,i traveled by myself from Hartlepool to go and protest Spurs i felt like a fan again instead of the mental desolation that i normally feel while he’s been in charge and i thank them for that,i would be there Sunday if i could regardless of the”bombshell” you dropped last night.

Personally feel appointing Carver is whats caused this slump! The players won’t play for him, he publically berates them on the sidelines, hangs them out to dry in the press and clearly has no clue! A lot of our players were told we were looking to make top 6 and would show ambition! Carvers appointment confirmed they were lied to. No shock they play like they don’t care, if the owner doesn’t care why should they? Ive worked with businesses that lied to me to get me in and i held no affection or loyalty to them because of it

Can we please stop this thing that Pardue was forced out by the “Pardue out lot” as you refer to them?
If he was ver going to be forced out by fans having a go ( inside the ground I may say) it would have been after the saints away game .
Had palace not come calling with all they offered he would still be here
He being the opportunist he is saw an exit and it was win win for Ashley.
Ashley had a lot of chances to fire him but declined not out of loyalty but because he knew he couldn’t not get a decent replacement for what he as paying Pardue and also one that would put up with the shit and toe the line.
We all recall it was a case of who will blink first as Ashley was never going to pay out the rest of the 8 year contract. And Pardue was never going to walk away from it to oblivion.
It had nothing to do with the fans. Fact
In my opinion fans who pay their hard earned have every right to voice an opinion .
Even wenger as coping it ffs
Have a look back through the posts of recent times to when we were being humiliated on a weekly basis Liverpool at home ,spurs home and don’t mention the unwashed.
    All on pardues watch
Had the powers that be done a proper job in January they would have said pardew can leave once we have our man .
But no ash saw quick cash and gambled
Had we got in ANYBODY other than carver Pardue would not get a mention but hey yes blame the fans for not putting up with the complete lack of anything resembling ambition.
Me thinks you have been away to long bonny lad

agreed with everything you’ve said, ill be flabbergasted if all the season tickets go in the close season either where in the top flight or not, every supporter has a right to either buy them or not its up to them what they do with there well earned money the thing that should be very much inplanted in head should be this are yous going to tolerate another season just like this one or do yous say no not buying the season tickets until the club changes or greedy Ashley is well and truly gone

you just about summed up Ashley to a tee, I would like to know how much advertising Ashley has had out of the club over the last say 8 years because he might be the major shareholder of sport shitty direct he doesn’t own it outright and why has no money been changed hands for the advertising apart from crappy Wonga, I think there should be a tax investigation into Ashley and how he deals with his companies he owns theres already a parliamentary inquiry into his dealings in Scotland over a company there and other things going on we all should just add to that list with our unhappiness on the way hes handling our club he may own it but he doesn’t own the fans

Right. This blog has always been absolutely terrible – attention grabbing headlines with no content to back it up. For some reason it always appears on Newsnow and I very often over the years have been unable to resist winding myself up by reading the articles. However this takes the biscuit – the author is so completely out of touch with the majority of Newcastle fans and very importantly the feeling across the region. How dare you suggest that NUFC fans should swallow what’s been offered them and support the team regardless? It simply doesn’t make any sense – it’s the equivalent of suggesting that if the club’s performance becomes so bad then they automatically occupy some sort of bizarre loophole where they are rewarded with unwavering support. No. The fans have been behind the team all the way through Ashley’s regime – from the championship to to Europa league. Now they (the regime, the “manager” and the players) have to repay that blind faith by DOING THEIR JOB. Not because of the support of the fans, but because they owe it to the fans. No-one has the right to tell the fans what to do any more. It’s insulting for any member of NUFC staff to think they do. If we’re relegated then 100% of the blame lies with the regime. To suggest that the fans should shoulder any of the blame or burden is unbelievable and highlights how appalling and detached this blog is

Dr Ed – showing the yellow belly of ‘lets not rock the boat’ line of thinking.
Sick to the back teeth of the utter cowardice this Blog promotes along with the utterly misguided and repetitive comments on the ‘Sack Pardew Crew and AO Crew”.
People/supporters doing nothing has led to the utter shambles of a club and and unchallenged owner who thinks he may do as he wishes, no matter how low that takes us.
As for this Blog – all it ever does is repeat other peoples articles. The opinions of Ed are enough for me to stop looking in here now, even though I generally enjoy the replies far more.

Sunday is all about supporting the team. It’s going to be a helluva day and everyones’ nerves will be on edge, so I’m pleased to hear that the AshleyOuts are planning a sit-in AFTER the game. Ed I can’t see the problem with that. Once we’ve done our bit to support the lads, all bets are off and people should be free to express their views.

There you go again saying that fans forced out Pardew! He left of his own accord for a better offer at his home town former club, for which NUFC were compensated. He would never have left due to fan pressure as he always had Ashley’s backing. He would still be here but for that offer. The only person to blame for this mess is Ashley for not adequately replacing him.
As for not protesting; well the team will have to work hard and they will be well supported; if they don’t then they will get dog’s abuse.
How dare you blame the fans? You have no idea man!

Lads and Lasses – i sincerely wish you all the very best of luck.
I have supported leicester for all of my 40 odd years and most memorable game ever was seeing us chuck away a 4-2 lead at your place about 20 odd years ago with about 8 mins to go and getting beat 5-4. will never forget the noise, passion and vision of people literally falling on top of each other at the gallowgate end. I have a few good mates who live in newcastle and ahve had many a messy night out on the town and one thing that always strikes you is just how passionate the support is and always has been. You deserve better as fans in relation to the shite management and shite attitude shown by overpaid prima donnas. Good luck at the weekend guys and seriously hope you win. A club of your size and fan base deserves to be managed in the correct way and let’s hope you eventually get it.
