Pundit – Newcastle Deserve To Be Relegated

Sunderland got a 0-0 draw at the Emirates tonight and that point makes them safe on 38 points from 37 games and manager Dick Advocaat has 12 points from the 8 games he’s managed Sunderland.

Steve Stone and John Carver – too inexperienced

As we have seen with the lack of experience of John Carver – experience in these situations is priceless –  because these guys have been through it all before, while this is John Carver’s first test of being a head coach in the Premier League and he’s failed miserably.

John says he has tried everything and now he seems to be out of ideas – but that’s what comes from being so inexperienced and in reality John should have been replaced long before now.

There’s a growing opinion in football that Newcastle deserve to be relegate,  because not only have we been absolutely terrible in these last 10 games, but we have been the worst team in the Premier League this year with just 10 points from 18 games.

And our recent results have reflected our form, and we have 1 point from the last 30 played for, and it’s a list catastrophic errors made by Managing Director Lee Charnley.

Lee did nothing as we plunged down the league table, and after the Leicester disaster when they hammered us 3-0 – he kept John Carver on board for the final three games.

This is what Liam Brady, the former Arsenal midfielder  has said on BT Sport:

“I think any team that can only manage one point from their last 10 games, going from the platform that they had – 27 points and sitting above half-way – deserve to go down.”

After the Everton win, which was Alan Pardew’s last game in charge, we were in 9th place, one place above Liverpool and we had 26 points from 19 games and a goal difference of -6.

We were only 14 points from safety – bu we’ve fallen apart since then – fallen apart in the most dramatic way, where we’ve needed just one win in the last 10 games to be safe, but we haven’t managed it.

Maybe on Sunday?

Newcastle are without doubt the worst run club in the Premier League this season.

Rangers earned a hard-fought victory to take a two-goal advantage into the Premiership play-off semi-final.
They overcame Hibernian with a display of resilience and spirited effort, built upon the wiliness of Haris Vuckic.

Get him back for Sunday – at least he tries

If the rumour is true, that Dick Advokaat was offered £500k to take over and a bonus of £500k if he kept them up – he has earned every penny of it and it will be the best £1 Million that scum has ever spent!!!

JB,The fat cnut had it all planned out to be ran on a shoestring with the support of a lot of fans. The splashing of a bit of cash at first, drinking with the fans and hiring of club legend KK. The deliberate underming and falling out with him and the inevitable fallout with the fans. Then the club up for sale (apparently) with a heartfelt statement saying how he wanted the best for the club. All of this to divide the fans so he could get on with his vision of minimum spend, zero success with maximum exposure for the real reason he bought us.

Interesting what o’shea said after the game (don’t usually give a shit what any of their players have to say)

“it’s all thanks to sky for involving us in survival Sunday and I thought, I’m not having that”.

Imagine our players. And honest john.

“We tried our hardest but sky put so much pressure on us that we just couldn’t do it”

    Spineless the lot of them.

The slug makes me physically sick.

Carver does not even want his players watching football on TV in case it tires them out.

“Don’t watch football because sometimes mentally that can fatigue you and put a bit of pressure on you,” he said.

Stupid statement from the Irishman. Relegation is measured over the season. If Hull get fewer points than us (unlikely I know) they deserve to go down.

Out of the dug-out and into the Bunker now John, where all this was always going to end.
Ordering up divisions that no longer exist.
Pumping out propaganda about final victories to be won if only the people sacrifice themselves for the cause.
No-one with the courage to tell him it’s over.

Ah, sorry Jail, I thought you were an attendee of late.

Any FF delegates on here might know what, if anything’s happened?

Just the little things such as a written point-by-point response to the first open letter?

If nowt’s moved on since then, it might be appropriate for the FF to make a stink about the Club’s lip-service to the fans – and the rules of course!

We, that is Carver and Co, need to forget about Hull and what could happen there, and concentrate of winning a game ffs, just one game, the last chance game. We have to beat WHU, simple as that. Oh who am I trying to kid, Championship make some room down there, here we come.

At the risk of getting dogs abuse: well done Sunderland. As someone who has, over the years, laughed at them, abused them, mocked them and even hated them I have to now congratulate them on their survival. At least they seem to have a management, board, players and fans that care and are willing to fight for their cause. All we have are fans that care – and judging by this and other blogs over the last few days – fans that are now starting to turn on each other assisting Ashley et all in the final master plan. Well done Sunderland it almost makes me want to turn red and white. Almost but not quite.

You either have a rich owner putting millions in or you borrow millions and mortgage your future. If you’re not in that game, you battle with the also rans. Burnley and QPR are relegated. The mackems were nearly relegated. It’s part and parcel of football especially if you’re badly run. It’s always been the case at NUFC.

    lesh,
They did say they’d bring it foraard and not wait until the end of the season, but then again Pardew aas meant to do a Q&A on total sport after our last near miss which never happened, then there’s the small matter of where 30M in operating costs went…..

And unless he can somehow be persuaded its a good idea to piss off, at the start of next season, the clock radio bursts into life at 6-odd a,m,,,, Sonny and Cher ‘I got you babe…’ and off we go again GROUNDHOG SEASON. Protest and never stop, and / or subside eventually into the abyss. I know its bleak but I can’t see it being any different otherwise

    You always talk in extremes.

Why can’t we be a club like Southampton, Swansea, stoke, Everton, Spurs…who are top ten teams now through strengthening at the right times, spending the money they make and doing what’s best for the team not only what’s best for bank balances.

We never go for experienced players like they do who can help a squad through tough times instead of tons of inexperienced lads who struggle when it gets tough.

Nobody expects top 4 and 100mil spent each year but we expect better than what we get now and the last few years under ashley.

Obviously as fabs we’d be annoyed to be in this situation but we’d be a lot more forgiving if the ub had actually tried to strengthen weak areas instead of just selling off players in January and had gone after a more experienced coach like most sides who sacked their manager did.
