Report That Newcastle Back In For Florian Thauvin

Marseilles are in some financial difficulties right now, and the reports are that they will have to sell one of their players before the end of this month in order to balance their books, and there’s a report in France that Newcastle have again inquired about the availability of 22 year-old winger Florian Thauvin.

Florian Thauvin – Marseilles 22 year-old winger

Newcastle still like a good deal, even though it seems like the new look Newcastle are more willing to pay out big money to get some big players into the club this summer, and we may be able to get a good deal on Thauvin who had a disappointing season for his French club.

Newcastle have to get away from fighting relegation – which we’ve done for two of the last three seasons, and start to build a team that can again challenge for the top eight in the Premier League.

Newcastle have been interested in Thauvin for a number of years now, and were interested in him two and a half years ago when he was still at Bastia before he moved to Lille.

But then two years ago he made the move to Marseilles to the disgust of Lille fans, and it could be the French club is willing to sell their top youngster in order to balance the books, and especially since he was not too impressive last season.

The report is in the Le Parisien that Newcastle have made an inquiry as to the availability of the French U21 winger, who played 38 games last season with 5 goals and 8 assists.

In his two seasons at Marseilles he’s played 79 games with 15 goals and 14 assists – and this lad is a class player who can open up opposing defenses – and Newcastle could probably get him for less than £10M Marseilles paid Lille for him tw0 years ago.

First thing I want to know about mcclaren, as well as the transfer he’s going to bring in, is what he can do with the players we already have. Van gaal was able to get a tune out of players who ppl had already written off. Such as fellaini & young.
If mcclaren can get a tune out of Riviere, cisse, tioti, anita, gouffy, or even some of them, they will be like new players. Then if he’s able to develop players such as haidara, perez & aarons, aswel & bring in couple of centre backs & a couple of strikers, we could be in for a good season.
When a new a manager comes in, everybody wants to impress him to get first team football. We will have to see if mcclaren is as good as all these former players have said.

This I just another bunch of nonsense, I mean where did you get the idea Ashley has suddenly become more generous, it’s even doubtful if you believe what you say anymore, just looking for hits.
