88% Think He Was Man Of The Match Against Northampton

It was one of those times when the winner of the Man of the Match award for last night’s game wouldn’t be in any doubt, after Florian Thauvin had a very productive (and great) game in his first start for Newcastle,  when he scored one goal and had three assists – so was involved in every single Newcastle goal, as in the end we comfortably beat Northampton Town 4-1.

Florian scored after three minutes and then put on a  clinic of how to cross the ball into the penalty box, and three goals came from those pinpoint crosses and it could have been more.

Florian Thauvin

Florian Thauvin at Newcastle – Howay The Lads!!

Florian will quickly become a big star with Newcastle fans because of his fantastic skills, and he put on some show last night – that’s for sure.

He’s a magician when he drops that shoulder of his and seems to go in one direction – but then goes in the other – and Luke Shaw had to drag him down when he was going past him after making that move on the young Englishman last Saturday.

That was after about 30 seconds into his debut.

While a number of us thought this was a risky signing by Newcastle, it could turn out to be the best one of the summer, and that’s saying something.

Florian could be the man that makes everything tick – and set up those chances for the likes of Mitrovic, Wijnaldum, Perez and others – and score some himself too.

To say the very least, he’s a very exciting player to have in the team.

Jib I was going to ask who voted Willo.
Anyways, I don’t wish to jump fences, but this lad seems to go past Robert for me, I have a feeling we’re going to cause big money clubs to pay more attention here the way things are going, and he’s the kind of person who would boycott training if given a hint from scouts, so it’s a darned situation.
He is past Robert, and I feel he is going nearer that Taff lad what’s his name who went to Real Madrid.
Aye he’s good, he’s super, but then super lads don’t tend to stay on Tyneside too long.

Those poll results suggest that Ed needs to do some background checks on the voters to weed out the mackems who conspired against the real star – Willo!

Voting for Willo shows tgat like me, you’re an astute judge of football talent who sees a wider picture of a player’s overall contribution to the game rather than the odd flash of skills.

I heard some oneKer proposed something like £247 million smackers to bring in that Brazilian player from Barcelona
£247 million pounds for a man.
Ashley must be counting the bobs now coming his way.
