The Premier League resumes again this Saturday after the two week International break, but Newcastle have to wait until Monday night before we take on West Ham at Upton Park.

Steve McClaren – will be hoping for the win

It would be very nice if we can get a win on Monday night, and then try to make it two wins in a row when we entertain newly promoted Watford on the following Saturday.

Went for a draw because of our away record, but have a sneaky feeling we could nick this one if we set up and attack from the start.

I agree we need to shake it up a little. Bring in De Jong and Perez.

I think west ham fans are just as likely as any to turn on their team if they struggle. They have already this season, so we need to bear that in mind tactically. They’re performing better away from home and that might be the reason. They’re desperate to retain their PL status, probably more than any other team this season, with the new stadium issues and they appear to be nervous at home. We need to capitalise on that and not let them settle for one minute. Once they start making mistakes, the tension that is in the stands should filter down into the players. Frustrating them could be the key.
