    Sir Eric

Like you, I have faith in Charlie Austin, faith that he would’ve been MoM had he been at the club.

    Perez.
One of the few players who has punched above his weight, pound for pound, makes his own luck, wants to win something.
I’m trying to figure out the great leaps forward that have reduced him to a sub.

a europa league season with a panic buying transfer when the players bought will usually be those other teams are wanting to get rid of any way and then a full season of no incomings at all and then a transfer window of more poor and young players has caught up with us and the one thing these don’t have which championship promoted teams do have is team spirit.

best player by a mile Perez least he tried something
    Colback woeful
That team has RELEGATION written all over it.
Reason- cannot score goals teams know how to play us let us have the ball up to edge of box hit us on the break.
    Score
then sit back and let us play all-around – NO PENETRATION NOWT!!!!!! CLUELESS.
Be lucky if we score 10 goals by Christmas and have 10 points.
SORRY the football might be better but the result is the same

We had a poor pre season. Our CB pairing played their first game together against Southampton! And prior to today only 2 games without 10 men. So McClaren I think is still trying to work out our best team.

Cisse is diabolical up front. His runs don’t create space for our midfield to attack into and he can’t hold up the ball.

If we have a striker pressing the defence it creates space for players like Wijnaldum and Sissoko to move into. That is why they were so quiet tonight because it didn’t happen.

Colback and Anita provided no forward momentum passing only sideways or backwards. That meant our only attacking outlet came from our fullbacks – both of whom had a an average/poor final ball that did not trouble West Ham.

De Jong looked good and was trying to create. As was Perez. Both need to start the next game and I think they will.

When we play a 4-2-3-1 the opposition tactics are to mark Colback and Anita and push any forward momentum we have out to the boundaries where they can then pressure the ball out of bounds. Our lack of attacking threat shows it works. We need to change it up or the pressure of being at the bottom of the table will have us all turning on each other again and we will be relegated.

what you can also say is these players aren’t even that good anyway, the dutch national team han’t even qualified for the european championships next year.

The foreigners who are really a much better bunch than english are those who play for south american, spanish and german.

No. It’s not all Carr’s fault. Carr’s simply in a pivotal position at the club and he’s not good enough. Ashley gave him a big contract.

Ashley provided some money. Not enough but some. Carr wouldn’t buy Charlie Austin with it. Unless it was Charnley and he’s making footballing decisions. Shouldn’t think so.

its true what neville is saying, 50 odd million just isn’t alot anymore, we are simply living in the past, 50 million is great 10 years ago, it’s true the other teams are spending over 20 million on one player, does mike ashley want to spend that kind of money? of course he doesn’t but in the modern game buying these unproven players for 10 million a piece just isn’t enough.

we’re never getting near the top 6 and that’s ok at this moment in time but the most worrying thing is we’re so far behind teams like swansea palace southampton, we haven’t bolted no horse mike seriously we’ve gone nowhere again.

Ayoze Perez should never warm the bench again ..class.

Cisse is a clown and should never wear the shirt again

Colback going through the motions for his wages

De Jong ..Championship standard ..needs a bomb up his Arse

Colocchini ..absolutely pathetic wimpy player,,he’s finished

Sissoko is relied upon to much , he’s trying to Carry a bunch of mercenary’s

    No philosophy or team ethic

We are fractious as a team .

Mike Ashley took us to the depth’s of despair ..both on and of the pitch ..lets never forget that he treat the Club and the supporters in the most offhanded disgraceful uncaring, flippant, dismissive way for 7 years and counting.

forget the £49 million spent ..there was already that amount sitting idle doing nothing for 2 seasons while we plummeted to a near relegation ..he has not done anything that he should have already done.

I will never forgive the B’stard ..you can.

Ashley is the reason why we are in the mess we are in right now …an influx of potential at the start of every season does not make for a settled Team or Club .

SM has to change the tactic from 4231 to 352. It gives us an extra man in central defence & an extra man up front. We always have our wingers tracking back. Sooner SM realises this the better.

A five minute spell in 90 is just not good enough, west ham looked a bit bored in the 2nd half. a traing session really . worrying very very worrying.

Things i pointed out a few weeks ago and got a lot of people disregarding:
    1) Cisse is uselss and is one of the worst players in the prem.
    2) Unless you have 500M worth of midfielers you cant play with a poacher (even then its debatable).
    3) Perez should be the first name on the teamsheet and is the only player with any quality on the ball.
    4) Haidara is terrible going forward and cant cross to save his life.
    5) Coldback and Anita offer no creativity and cant play a pass longer than 5 yards with no forward thinking.
    6) Krul is average (not shown in this game).

they’ve just shown the the movement of all our midfielders and they are all very slow and it’s summed up when they aren’t getting into the box but nor are they preventing counter attack.

That was a poor performance without doubt. I honestly do not know what Sissoko offers us. He had a number of opportunities to get crosses into the box but failed. He isn’t a wide midfielder. Cisse cannot play up front on his own and needs support. Systems have to fit players, not the other way round.
I’m not worried at the moment however if we should fail to win on Saturday I will start to get nervous.

Charlie Austin is shite, stop banging that drum please. He scored at the weekend from a shot which went under the keeper. The bloke was totally anonymous though throughout the game.

Bottom line is cisse ain’t much use by himself and others need to step up to the plate, we have a team with no real leaders and it shows. Btw Leicester made a class comeback yesterday, Mahrez the catalyst, he didn’t track back wasn’t asked to babysit the full back, was very ball greedy looked to always be at his man or 2 sometimes 3 or 4 but he got 2 assists and was MOTM. We hounded out a fella like him last season and won’t ever find another like him

the formation has got to change from 4-2-3-1 to 4-4-2.

    obatan__colback___sissoko__thauvin
    _______cisse____perez

obatan provide us some of that speed and both he and thauvin attempt to creat chances out wide perez and cisse can assist each other inside the box and colback or sissoko can get ready for them deflections outside the box
