Can Newcastle Get First League Win Against Watford?

8:54 am, Wednesday, September 16th, 2015 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 6 Comments

It certainly wasn’t the result or the performance Newcastle fans wanted to see on Monday night at Upton Park, our very last game there, but we were easily beaten 2-0.

It was an off-night, and maybe that 40 minute delay caused by the London traffic did have something to do with the display, and on Saturday we could see a (very) good performance at home to newly promoted Watford and our first league win of the season.

Can Fab Coloccini lead us to first win on Saturday?

We certainly hope so, because we need some wins to climb the table from the 20th place we are in at the moment.

My wife has given me some council this week and over the last many decades – and says we all take this far too seriously – it’s only a game.

I have two things to say to that – she’s right,  but she just doesn’t understand.

Drop Colback and Anita please. Leave defence to the back four and play an attacking game.
