sergio aguero scores again

Sergio Aguero after scoring one of his five goals

Here´s all seven goals of Newcastle´s 6-1 hammering by Manchester City this afternoon – well at least the first goal was a good one from Newcastle and a nice header from Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The rest of it isn´t so good.

🙁

Here is the video.

    GeordieTwo
We fell off the radar for the last 12 yrs and we cant change that in one season. it take a continous
commitment from every one involved The owner , board , coaching team , players and fans we will b
    a great time .
We shld stop livng in The Keagan and Sir Bobby days we r no lomger that club . We r a sh @t club
building its self . If we dont get in our crazy minds we will protest every season. Gary Neville was
right. Liverpool and us we r off yhe radar.

Today is another opportunity for Ashley ass lickers to admit and learn from the mistakes. It’s all up to them 🙂

So have most people come back down to earth or are you still on cloud #9 after the Chelsea game?

  • 7 toon kk // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:18 PM

Tbh I’m past the caring stage, every time we play I expect us to beat, and time and time again we do.
Sad excuse for a shit football club.
But this season has been coming for a long time. Surely MA and co could see self destruction doesn’t work.

  • 8 will die for the toon army // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:19 PM

The more we protest we will fall behind 5 steps.

  • 9 Tsunki // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:21 PM

I don’t want to hear about how we are a crap club and we were crap before this is NOW, not the era of striking miners and low incomes and club owners who made a decent living out of concrete or the scrap business and put in what spare cash got the club afloat. This is a completely different era, where huge wads of TV money and advertising placement image and brand rights rule. There’s no excuse for a man who wants to own a club to claw at this pie to be so stingy as to run the club on empty. He has no affinity to this team or the area. He has no good excuse for penny pinching at all. And there’s no reason why he can’t fund a progressive team.

Tsunki…are you sure Ashley is the one to debate right now…

…or is he always the topic regardless 😉

He is sort of the equivalent to someone having tourettes on here!

  • 11 Tsunki // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:23 PM

Will die you are hopelessly naive. Ashley is the guy who took us out of the era you speak of. He did it at the same time as the money poured into the game.

  • 12 Transfer Sage // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:24 PM

    will die

    how does protesting not help?

Should we just continue to believe that Ashley has the best intentions for us after not showing any sign of that over the past 8 years?

  • 13 will die for the toon army // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:25 PM

We r crazy to compare ourselves to Spurs and West ham. Those guys have built their club for the last 5 seasons with patience no complaints.

We r going to b the downfall to our Club. We still live in the Keagan and Sir Bobby days.

  • 14 Tsunki // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:25 PM

Jesper if you think sacking McLaren is the key Bon chance. Ashley will run the the same way. The buck starts and stops there.

  • 15 toonarmydownsouth // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:26 PM

    Well that was………..embarrassing…….

Mind you a club that decides it’s a f^*king canny idea to start a sub-standard cf with a similar sized engine to a mobility scooter as holding midfielder against Man City fully deserves to get absolutely demolished, poor goofy, he was done after 20 minutes

    Same sh1t different day….

  • 16 Tsunki // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:27 PM

For the Toon Army Will Die. That is the name you need if you sit back and watch this pathetic charade play out son

  • 17 Transfer Sage // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:27 PM

    Jesper

What else is there to debate?

We have made the same mistakes again, appointed a coach just sacked from a lower league side, not bought any players with league experience and we find ourselves down the bottom again. No to mention the same types of collapses and boring football for the majority of games.

We make the same mistakes whoever we have in charge or buy, whether that’s under Mort, llambias, Kinnear or now Charnley, therefore in my eyes the problem comes from the very top.

  • 18 Tsunki // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:28 PM

Time to crank up the boycott machine again?

  • 19 toonarmydownsouth // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:28 PM

Ah reet were back to it being the fans fault not the sheer ineptitude of the upper management who are ruining the club?
    Good stuff

    Carr out
    Charnley out
    Ashley out

  • 20 Transfer Sage // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:29 PM

    will die

We don’t live in the keegan days, stop saying that. West ham did nothing but complain for the past 3 years under sam allerdyce. Spurs haven’t progressed at all in the past 4 seasons, always been around that same positions.

We are a team that looks much worse than swansea, southampton, both teams were promoted long after us.

And you need to ask, why are we starting to build now? why do the five year start now? Ashley has been here for 8 and we keep going backwards.

  • 21 WWSBRD // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM

I fell asleep at 1-1 woke up to 6-1 not sure what happened there

    Tiote play well?

  • 22 jesperfuglsang - capt'n awesome of the lemon crew // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM

Tsunki…I was here last week when we played Chelsea…funny how different it is when something like this happen!

…but it’s always the same regarding Ashley! It’s sort of there is nothing between us and Ashley…everything else is just without importance or responsibility!

  • 23 Tsunki // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:30 PM

Ed can we have an Ashley Out? Article. Just for the crew/ mob/ crowd / goons / rabble and general Doom and Gloomers?

  • 24 will die for the toon army // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:31 PM

We suffered for the last 8 yrs which is right with Ashely. But MA found us living above our means and if all they say is true and we r financially stable club then the 8 yrs were worth the pain now we move to second step.

He got a new board he isn’t to blame we shld blame the board. Who have been in office for 5 months really. We waited for 8 yrs got a financially stable club. Why cant we wait for another 8 yrs to get a good playing team.

MA has hurt us but look at the brighter side of things.

  • 25 Tsunki // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:32 PM

Yo – I went out for 20 minutes and it was like my house had disappeared ha ha. Bit of a silent moment.

  • 26 Transfer Sage // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:33 PM

    Jesper

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a fan of the manager, a lot of the players and I think our scouting system leaves a lot to be desired.

But the overall policy of the club and the people repeatably hired in key positions ultimately lies with the guy at the top.

For example look at the car company VW, that huge scandal came out and the guy right at the top walked….it’s his responsibility to ensure that everything that goes on under him is done right. He can’t do everything but he needs to make sure the people he hires to over see things are the right people.

  • 27 Thump // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:33 PM

@will die: Financial stability will do us very well in the Championship, of course.

  • 28 jesperfuglsang - capt'n awesome of the lemon crew // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:33 PM

TS…if there truly isn’t anything else to debate mate, then where will you go once Ashley do sell and you realize nothing has changed (you do know that might just be the case)

…Ashley is not the only situation far from…

  • 29 Transfer Sage // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:34 PM

    will die

    very naive mate, that’s all

Ashley has said before he had nothing to do with the running of the club. He then took credit the odd time things went well.

ultimately he appoints the board, if thye fail it’s on his shoulders.

  • 30 WWSBRD // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:35 PM

    will die
Bit more research into the clubs situation before Ashley forced himself in would be quite helpful for u buddy rather than believing what he puts into the media

  • 31 Mister Tuff // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:35 PM

jesper – perennial description of a lot of Toon fans unfortunately are space cadets and starship troopers who continue to orbit planet Zog season after season – they fail to see the gradual demise of the club.

We are going to need a miracle this season to keep us up.
We hear the same od repeated excuses :-
    we are rebuilding
    we cannot intoduce more players
we need time -10 games/12 games
    we have spent X millions
we cannot compete with teams a,b,c,d.
    we need to work hard
    we need to stick together
we need the support of the fans

……. to name but a few.
We Geordies seems to lap up this shyte when it comes from persons in “authority”. Need to be more bolshy/questioning.

  • 32 beefman13 // Oct 3, 2015 at 6:36 PM

It was surreal 2day, lily livered, from hope to dope within 10 mins, they made a fool out of all of us.

Mclaren, Colo has to be dropped, Anita has to be dropped, the winter window is vital now, we are weak as water, there is bit of promise but massive negatives, teams have us sussed, simple as.

Like I say, Ashley isn’t the only problem but he is causing the problems.

I can debate mcclaren if you like. I don’t think he is up to it, one good spell with twente is all he has in a mediocre career at best.

The players, show no character, little fight, once something does against them they all quite.

Charnley, not bringing in experienced players was a mistake, should have sanctioned moves for players who know the league and can lead the team.

Carr, very debated signings for years, very hit and miss. All scouts are though however he keeps buying lightweight players not suited to the league.
