Newcastle Announce Loan Deal

Mike Williamson has been sent out on an emergency loan to Wolves for a month.

Wolves center-back Kortney Hause was ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring strain over the weekend, so Mike will be able to come immediately into the Wolves defense.

So 1 month gets us to the end of November. Then we only have a few weeks to keep him out of the team and we can finally be shot for good in January!

Nothing against the bloke, but he has never been a premier league level footballer. He’ll probably do well in the championship again.

Either way this deserves a mini celebration.

Leaders is one thing. The back 4 needs addressing its a shambles I hate to say it because I think he is a cracking player going forward but Janmatt is not a defender and Sissoko is not a winger time and time again goals are lost from that side. Now that Colback is injured the time is right to move moussa into the centre and move Janmatt RM and then bring Kevin Mbabu into the team the young has thge making of a top player and will bring better balance to the right side of the backline only need to get Colo out then and were sorted.

nufc 11.. agreed Janmatt and RW and MBabu at RB would be a far more solid wing.

    Mbabu – Mbemba – Collo – Haidara
    Janmatt – Sissoko – Anita – Wijnaldum
    Perez
    Mitrovic

    A good solid team there.

So who’s our backup CB now if Colocini or Mbemba gets suspended/injured? Lascalles?

How on gods earth does it make sense to loan out an experienced player who plays a position at which you are already extremely thin?

Sissoko has never done well in CM.
His passing and vision are just not good enough for that position.
In fact, he has a lot of qualities, but does not fit into any particular position.
Unless you want to play him behind a striker as he did once to good affect against Chelsea.
