Newcastle Coach – Progress Being Made – Thanks Fans

We have not done well in the first 11 games of the season – in fact it´s the worst start in our 123 year history.

– but on the positive side of things there are definite signs since the Manchester City game that the players are starting to gel a bit and they certainly seem to now understand the way Steve McClaren wants them to pay.

Steve Black – Newcastle? motivational consultant

What we are still lacking is putting those chances away – being clinical in front of goal – but the fact we are creating so many chances is another positive.

Certainly Newcastle’s motivation consultant Steve Black thinks things are starting to turn around – as he sent out these tweets today.

What we need are more wins – let´s make that clear – wins, wins, wins, wins.

    REPOST

I think JfAs case is that Ashley has the wrong business model for the Toon and it cannot be successful as he sees the club product as the advertising profile for SD and profit in trading players and not the performance on the pitch – which has been very low down his agenda till now.
Does a leopard change its spots is the argument now, and its pretty futile.
We can speculate all we like but we won’t know unless we survive this season. Underinvestment can’t be cured in one window but let’s all hope Macca has a chance in the EPL over three windows and improvement the growing partnership in midfield isn’t ended by Sissoko being sold.
Ashely is still a gambler and his biggest bet is on us staying up after being starved of the right signings for years.

JfA thinks it is a lost cause, BobbyBee thinks MAsh deserves a second chance. Agree to differ.

Even more interesting – if Rotonda is right about the superiority of foreign coaches then Remi Garde going to Villa is to our loss – and maybe even relegation. Villa had a bit to do with it last time.

    Jesus, bloody hell fire.

We were just in the process off cobbling together the e-fits Belfast.

Purple aki’s ears, Jimmy Saville’s eyes, Phil Thompsons nose, Marlon Brandos Jawline (when he had them golf balls in his mouth in Godfather) and Ste Maccas hairline.

    Sweet as a nut

“….he sees the club product as the advertising profile for SD”. Very good.

The best thing that can happen to Newcastle under Ashley, you would imagine, is for SD to continue to grow apace.

Unfortunately though, SD in it’s determination to offer the lowest prices, finds itself criticised for its business practices, and we could do without that association.

But he’s not peddling cheap burgers and fries to the masses. He’s peddling sport and exercise, which seems to go largely uncommented on.

All things considered, perhaps more yes than no. That’s what I’m getting at. He’s peddling sports equipment, and so a healthier, more social lifestyle, at affordable prices.
