Shearer Takes Sly Swipe At Sunderland

Everton were clinical today against Sunderland at Goodison Park and while Sunderland did well after being 2-0 down to come back to 2-2 with goals in stoppage time just before half time from Jermain Defoe and five minutes into the second half from Steven Fletcher – they were then quickly dismantled by a very good Everton attacking display and lost 6-2.

Oh the irony of the Mackem’s 666 t-shirt. Sweet.

Not what I’d call a sly swipe. More of a full blooded left hook! 😉

Bobbybee……. Tek it easy bonny lad; life’s too short to be gettin worked up. 😉

Remy Garde to be Villa manager very soon, says the Beeb.

If Villa pick up, it’s gonna be tricky at the bottom and we really need to start winning games.

Lesh, he deliberately misqotes me on a regular basis. If he can’t tell the difference between the words hate and hated, he shouldn’t join in conversations with the grown ups. I’m far from worked up, just laughing at him really. Be fair, if i deliberately misquoted you, would you not defend yourself? You would. I will. I know when I overstep the mark and apologise for it. Not this time. Never again with that nob. He just throws it back in your face.

I think JfAs case is that Ashley has the wrong business model for the Toon and it cannot be successful as he sees the club product as the advertising profile for SD and profit in trading players and not the performance on the pitch – which has been very low down his agenda till now.
Does a leopard change its spots is the argument now, and its pretty futile.
We can speculate all we like but we won’t know unless we survive this season. Underinvestment can’t be cured in one window but let’s all hope Macca has a chance in the EPL over three windows and improvement the growing partnership in midfield isn’t ended by Sissoko being sold.
Ashely is still a gambler and his biggest bet is on us staying up after being starved of the right signings for years.

JfA thinks it is a lost cause, BobbyBee thinks MAsh deserves a second chance. Agree to differ.

Even more interesting – if Rotonda is right about the superiority of foreign coaches then Remi Garde going to Villa is to our loss – and maybe even relegation. Villa had a bit to do with it last time.

Still gets under my skin that the entire world is thumping Scum… Yet we lost to them.. The 3 points were practically gift wrapped for us…
Anyway, as Big AL said… That’s football

Another top quality strike by big Al. He will always know where the goal is! 🙂
