Faustino Asprilla was at Newcastle from 1996 through 1998 and with Newcastle 4th bottom of the league after another appalling loss on Saturday he wants to come back to help the club.
This is what he has tweeted after the game on Saturday when he was likely depressed like the rest of us, after watching another pathetic performance from our overpaid and under-performing players.
I want to come and give @NUFC a hand to help us win again! pic.twitter.com/jxL8DawGIW

Comment #3We need to keep blind faith in Steve and the backroom staff. There is nobody else. Definite signs of improvement on Saturday over the Bournemouth game. Good times could be just around the corner.

Comment #4Agree with earlier post by Lesh about Abeid.
McClaren lets him leave and then after a couple of injuries complains that we have no midfield options. You couldn’t make it up.

It’s more likely to be a bloody great sinkhole lurking around the proverbial corner.
