Alan Shearer Reacts On Twitter To Fabulous Newcastle Win

Alan Shearer gives credit where it´s due and after Newcastle came back form the dead and away from home in that second half they thoroughly deserved to beat a stunned Spurs side with two goals in the last 15 minutes and a winner in stoppage time from Ayoze Perez.

generally speaking we did just as good against these big teams during pardews era and lost against a large number of teams points were expected if mac is really proving to perform better then I want more good results and play against teams around us because it’s those teams who’s fixtures are most important not teams in the other half.

I have to say unlike under Pardew.
I had no doubt that we would get something out of todays game BUT the Perez goal was a bonus , the kid is pure class

Catchy I’ve gotta say it’s refreshing to see our manager try and win, instead of pardew taking cisse off to put a left back on for damage limitation. Mind you with only 1 fit left back at present I’m pretty sure Alan would’ve had an anxiety attack by now

Great result, team spirit, and all round effort

We need proper wingers and make a final decision on who we play in the no10 role. Gutted about sdj as like him as a player but not suited to fast pace of prem. So sissokho or gini need to go in there with Perez up top for me.

Give over, you know I’m no fan of Pardew and I’m not defending him, he has Palace in sixth, to blame him for our current predicament is totally irrational.

Today was a victory but this victory can’t come without taking into account elliot himself made a number of vital saves in the first half, other days we’d have went into half time 3-1 down but luckily we were 1-0 down and on top of that spurs themselves decide to fall into second gear.

If we don’t get victory next weekend then these two wins will end up wasted.

I’m more than happy with Elliot as keeper, he might even keep TK out of the team.

What can I say – expected two defeats record scores – bloody eck – two wins – MUST follow it up against Villa.
MoTM – Elliot kept us in the game just before half time with two stunning saves as the Spuds would of been outa-sight.

Definite improvement since Dummett came back. He’s getting fitter by the game.

Cracking win, I never expected us to get anything the way Spurs have been playing.

We need to make sure we carry this form into the lesser teams like Villa though. I know the players are capable, just depends if they are motivated for it.

Good changes by the manager today with subs. Easy to say with hindsight of course but he kept the energy and momentum in our favour.

I said on here a couple of days ago.
Keep the same team. They had earned the shirt.
I got stick from the Fantasy Football Manager Brigade and their daft formations.
Mitro and Perez got the goals. But, you still have to be in the game for that to happen.

Rob Elliott’s family live in Greenwich
His 2 best performances were against Bournemouth and today
The club should pay for his family to come and support him up North

Wow! Did not see that result coming. We have showed real determination in the last 2 games. Can’t remember the last time we went 1-0 down and came back and won, especially a team that hasn’t lost this season!

Perez and Wini are pure class. I hope we keep the vultures (Liverpool and Arsenal) away in the next transfer window. We need to build with these types of players.

Mbemba really looks a great buy, he has the odd shaky moment but the guy has something special about him. It seems a bit silly saying that considering how much we’ve conceded this season but i’ll stick my neck out and say he’s got it.

Dummett’s done okay, not going to praise him too much, he seems pretty limited, panics and hoofs the ball, he’s more suited to CD and needs to cut out the hoofball thing. Mbabu looks a better fit.

Just babbling a bit due to our unexpected 6 points that i thought would be 0 points
