Twitter Responds To Newcastle’s Sensational Win

9:17 am, Monday, December 14th, 2015 by Dr. Ed Harrison · 2 Comments

Twitter responded to Newcastle’s great win yesterday and here a few tweets from those associated with Newcastle United and an interesting stats from Alan Brazil that Newcastle play better when live on TV.

That’s good because our game next Saturday is another massive one against bottom club Aston Villa and we are live on TV in the 5:30 pm kick-off game that we must win.

This will be yet another challenge for Newcastle – whether the lads can produce against one of the worst teams in the league when we will be the favorites to win it.

We cannot have a let-down in that game when there could well be a sell-out crowd to roar on the lads to potentially our third win in a row – the last game before Christmas.

After this terrible year they have to give Newcastle fans a nice Christmas gift with another win.

It was rather fitting that Thierry Henry was on the Sky talking heads team because Perez’ goal was vintage Henry a la Arsenal in all their pomp.

    Jib, spot on
A lot of talk was about how the keeper should have done better but the strike was so good , technical and instinctive that it’s no wonder that Henry liked it.
Lets hope that doesn’t end up as a recommendation to Wenger.
Perez clearly has great potential and with more body strength and players like Mitro around him to feed off that could become a very useful partnership.
