If the slug wants us to stay up – which I’m sure he does – he’ll have to spend in January, but can we trust Charmless and Carr to buy wisely?

Bottom 3 at Christmas that is unacceptable McClaren should be fearing for his job

    How many wins in 2015?

Catchy…I don’t think saying McClaren was a poor choice takes away how crappy Pardew was mate 😉

    Yo…Ashley firing a coach? That’ll be the day 😉

Are you telling me that you saying he misses chances should be enough for me to accept he has missed chances?

You say he needs 3 or 4 chances to score 1. That would put him amongst the best in the Prem, Lukaku converts 1 in 3, Aguero 1 in 4. (first and fifth respectively in chance conversion)

He also is a character and helps us defensively from set pieces.

Your blog moniker is as misguided as your football knowledge it would appear.

Which is just as bad as our squad having zero competition for places

mac does not play wingers at all he just uses a CAM midfielder and a inconsistant player out wide.

Pardew began his early years as a 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 himself all that changed when stories began going around of Ba’s buy out clause. Ba demanded to be put into the centre and things got more and more worse, basically the team was all messed up and you saw two seasons of awful transfer windows including 1 FULL SEASON WITHOUT A BUY alongside the SALE OF CABAYE.

Things were getting worse and worse thereby our squad was totally imbalanced and weather it’s 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 it’s going to make little difference because both managers had imbalanced squads.

People expect us to match Everton in possession? Im crying ? C’mon, having the home advantage doesn’t just tell the players how to play good football. We’re just limited in our qualities and the only way they exceed that is through confidence. We aren’t consistent enough which means we’re either up or we’re down, the confidence never settles. But at least they are trying with the setup given to them. That’s all we can ask.

exactly it they both crap managers with a squad just as bad now as it was. Pardew used goofy and cisse wide mac is using wij out wide.

mitro could be getting maclareaned due to macs poor creative midfield set up lol

  • 11 bladeuser // Dec 26, 2015 at 8:32 PM

Said it from the start SMAC will be very lucky if we survive relegation
    Dummet and janmaat are poor
    Colo is past it
    Mbemba is a plus
Colback is a waste of space Anita is better
Gini top player and SISSOKO is fine for now
Perez top player in the making
    Mitro jury is out
Four signings are needed urgently a left back a creative player and a top winger and a powerful c back only then can we compete and move away from the bottom
but this manager is not the man to do it
    SHEEP Out

Twisting and weasling, aint engaging with you further. I spelt it out for you and you’re been deliberately obtuse. He misses 3/4 chances that you’d expect him to score, not any old chances, those where you’d expect a genuine PL quality ST to score, these may not even be obvious to somebody like you that runs to your strict stats and doesn’t note when he takes an heavy touch and is dispossessed or isn’t on his toes so is beaten to the ball when a more alert, refined player would score. particularly one with his hype and self-esteem when comparing himself to Shearer. He’s a useless lump thus far and in just the last 2 matches has missed 4 glaring chances given to him on a plate. I know you won’t change your mind, he seems to be somewhat of a darling for some. Don’t know why as a model pro that elevates the team misses a chance last week and is rinsed, whereas a brat that habitually throws on field bitch fits and misses numerous chances is sanctified.

    Jesper – King of Casuals
