Newcastle’s Strange Way Of Trying to Sign Top English Striker

Newcastle fans are doing their best to try to get a good striker to Newcastle in January who can score some goals for us and help the club survive in the Premier League.

Somebody living in the Leicester are have done their bit to try to lure a certain Jamie Vardy to Newcastle.

Jamie’s fiancee Becky Nicholson has put this out on her Twitter account.

Well it was worth a try.

Wonder if he’ll take up the offer – but from our secret sources in Leicester we understand the shirt wasn’t even his size.

Damn it!

🙂 🙂 🙂

Here’s a nice picture of the couple.

Hope for England’s sake vardy rediscovers his touch 1 in 6 is his latest record and a few misses which he should have buried. Was hoping Leicester would at least continue competing for the title or CL spot

Blackley – well that’s fair enough. I guess that’s why he’s Mike and we aren’t, otherwise we’d know as much as him about his first deeds. I don’t go along with any sum being piffling up Jim though. We are talking about an avaricious man, he moves money around for a reason. All money.

And piffling up Jim? What kind of evil phone is this? It was supposed to say ” piffling to him”

    Sorry Jim, no offence!

    Blackly,

    Yep,

    That’s fair enough.
The amount by which SD and other Ashley concerns benefit is by the by to some extent.
The undeniable fact that the club isn’t getting anything from it.
It says so, and it concedes the loss of this revenue effects its ability to compete on the pitch.
And if that’s by the by to some as well, then that’s just how they see things.

If he really had the best intentions for the club he’d let it pay back the loan!

    OP,

The club says the loan is the investment that justifies the free advertising. It saved us a fortune in bank charges, the club says.
But it is a solidified debt. And of course, it is just a loan.
Yesterday, Jib was making the point yesterday that the deal gets better and better for Ashley with each passing year.

It’s like when you consolidate all of your old loans into one new loan.
The interest rate you pay comes down, but the overall debt has gone up.

Thanks for the link, but I think it might be broken,
I’m was scrolling down the list of English clubs he’d consider taking on, but it seems to stop before it gets to us.
Are you sure that’s the right one?

    Ian toon be thy name.
    Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
    as it is in basement
Give us this day our daily finances
    And forgive us our trespasses,
    as we forgive those
    who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us some eggnog
    For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,

lets say the club will make £200m if they are in the Premier league this season and next season. subtract £50m spent in the last window and subtract around £40m profit they will want to make and that leaves about how much will be spent in January and the summer. simples!

I presume we should want SD to be successful as this will probably be better for NUFC than if SD struggle.

IMO it was only ever to benifit one man.
Apparantley the loan would have been paid off last year, he stumped up some when he got us relegated through miss management. He should foot that bill.

Do our operating costs keep going up so we can’t service the debt?

    Win win for Ashley
    Lose lose for NUFC
