I never saw the game but by all accounts we should have been 1,2 nil up in the first half and we apparently had slightly the better of it in the second half as well as missing another couple chances. If the match was 0-0 people would be saying that we played alright just lack a clinical striker (remy). If we had won people would be going mad saying that we dominated, just because Watford were gifted the win doesn’t necessarily mean we played terrible this match. Performance was what it was, just lack a proven goalscorer. The rumours about gabbiadini are probably untrue but him and remy on loan would be two strikers I would go for.

Remy on loan is a must. Better option than Austin. We need a fast striker. Give Riviere a chance. He could’ve scored 4 against Man Utd last season.

Our great strikers of yesterday Milburn, Macdonald,Shearer & Co must either be turning in there graves or tearing theyr hair out. They never missed chances like Mad Mitro is missing

two strikers I’d go for would be Ronhaldhino and Adebayor. Both on 6 month silly money wages contracts. They’re both free agents so no need for transfer fees, cant see why we shouldn’t try

So is the answer to put in Mbabu, Marvaux Aarons Riviere Gouffy & Lascelles against Man U. Could also give the kid Darlow another chance in goal
